We had called ahead to reserve, which seems like something they do according to weather/size of group/day. In our case they took our reservation for a group of 4 which was greatly appreciated as it was quite crowded when we got there!
We were seated quickly on the patio, our drink orders were taken quickly, and our food came rather quickly too. 2 out of our group of 4 had poutine which they both liked, one had a burger which was overcooked, and I had the Bonsai salad - the dressing and radishes got to be too spicy but the tofu was absolutely amazing! It's such a dice throw ordering tofu as it isn't often well prepared but this was delicious
A little pricey but ok for a more high end casual type of night out

It has been decades since I have had poutine and so I thought I would order it for a change. I was pleasantly surprised. My serving (the Classic version) was large with generous amounts of kurds and crispy fries (and at least those on top). I was full when I finished it. My partner had the Bambino burger which was also very good. I had a couple of beers, the first was the Saaz Pils which I found to be a standard wheat beer, which was fine. My second was the La Framboise, which was amazing: one of the best beers that I have ever had. Truly refreshing and if the weather was warmer, I may have had to have had another. Service by Olivia was top notch, quick, friendly and attentive. La Memphré - Microbrasserie / Pub has a great location near the water and I would definitely come back here (note, the restaurant was busy however the wait was not long)

We met some friends of ours who drove out from Montreal. Not having been to Magog before, we said, "Pick a place." They picked the perfect place. Wonderful table, overlooking the street, great for people watching. We talked for two and a half hours over good food and awesome beverages. The poutine is quite good! Salads, chicken, and so much more. My wife loved her salad with grilled chicken...grilled to absolute perfection. My friend thoroughly enjoyed his burger stuffed to the gill with lots of good stuff and his wife enjoyed a salad as well. Portions are huge, the ingredients are fresh. Our server was sweet, attentive, and just plain wonderful. Good news was that we went to a concert up the street at 8 PM. It took us no time at all to walk up there, and still made our show. La Memphré really is a perfect dining spot, either with your significant other or in groups of friends. We had a blast and left not feeling overwhelmed with food, but just enough to enjoy the atmosphere, our friends, and our time in Magog.

An average experience in terms of food, but the beer was good. Our visit coincided with the first night for our server, who lacked some knowledge of the wines and beers available. More of a reflection of a lack of training I suspect, as she was very pleasant and clearly wanted to help. The menu was reflective of traditional pub fare, with our burgers proving to be adequate, but not amazing. However, on a warm summer night, sitting out on the deck outside with a view of the lake, you will enjoy the atmosphere.

Very noisy, friendly atmosphere, medium meal. I had a burger it was good but not the best I ate. My wife took a very ordinary fish & chips, she ate the fish but not the breadcrumbs. But the waiters were kind and helpful and the beer was good and the entrance too.

I've been to this restaurant a few times while visiting Magog and this is the first time I have been disappointed with the food. First off, no vegan options really. Second, the french fries looked and tasted like they had been sitting out for some time. Third, the carrot cake seemed under cooked, but I was not sure. When I politely asked the waitress if there had been a change with the carrot cake without mentioning my thoughts, she replied that the carrot cake was indeed undercooked. Now I don't know about any of you but if it was my restaurant I would not serve anything that was undercooked to a customer. There was no apologies said or anything else in that matter. I felt extremely sick afterwards, not pleasant at all. Since I wasn't sure I went ahead and ate it but I will never make that mistake again. Very disappointed. 👎
I don't usually like to complain but I think this is important to mentioning.
However, the atmosphere is good and you have a nice view of the lake depending where you are sitting. The waiters and waitresses are polite and friendly but again I stress that if they know something is undercooked they should not serve it. The reason for the one star.

This place used to be great, before they jacked up the prices and skimped on the portions. The food is good, and the ambiance is cozy, but the experience is certainly not worth the long lineups during tourist season. A couple of years ago the business was been taken over by the same owner of les Enfants Terribles (another overpriced mediocre restaurant just around the corner), so that might explain why it's going downhill.

This was a busy place the Saturday evening before the big eclipse of 2024. Reservations are a must to snag a comfortable table in the rustic dining room. Wonderful to be able to order a flight of beers to taste. Menu had an enticing variety of appetizers and meals. Vegetarian options available too. Highly recommend confit duck wings in BBQ sauce. Wild mushroom risotto and the Bonsai salad with roasted tofu.
Service was efficient and tables turned over well considering the line of folks without reservations. Location just across street from beautiful public park along lake Memphremagog.

First offered our family a table, then took it back claiming they were full. I asked for how long, they said 40 minutes, then proceeded to seat larger groups without reservations. I returned to ask why we were turned away, the hostess was dumbfounded. Asked to speak to a manager, again hostess wasn’t sure who this was. A manager happened to walk out and see us looking irate. Asked us what was wrong, would not acknowledge or take any responsibility, claimed I misunderstood (despite not being there nor consulting with her hostess on what transpired). Clearly just discriminating against families. Our visit was at 1:15pm in the afternoon on a weekday. Needless to say, the lack of good management explains the pitiful service, and we will happily take our business elsewhere.

It’s our third time coming here and it is always just as good.
The beer is delicious. My favorite, 1908.
If you come here, try the onion rings, duck drumsticks with blue cheese sauce, everything is good ….
Service is quick and efficient.
Prices are reasonable.
Location is great for the view of the lake.

I will start with the nice team , all the staff is friendly. Theenu is really big and you must try the duck wigns! Ive been there twice just for those!!
Chalk wall, the beer menu is impressive and they are really good. They will give you a tester anytime you want so you dont get stuk with à neer you dislike.
There terrasse is big and inside, its intimate.
Best place to stop for à lunch or dinner!

We were within east walking distance to this gem of a pub by the water in Magog. We enjoyed local craft brews and cider on tap. Fantastic wild mushroom poutine and a lovely person waiting on us with her best English to help these non-French speaking travellers.

Staff were lovely and provided excellent service in both French and English. We got 2 flights of beer and were delighted. Our kids got chicken nuggets and fries and my husband and I got the ducked wings. Both were excellent. Highly recommend !

We very much enjoyed this culinary experience and highly recommend a visit. A delightful Pub atmosphere with outstanding food at a reasonable price. Our service was terrific and menu choices delightful. We will visit again on our next visit to Magog.

Very popular restaurant. Plan ahead, reservations are necessary. Very nice selection of craft beer. But just not a micro brasserie, very good wine selection. Summer means lovely seating outside on their porch or around an outdoor bar. Views of the lake. Winter guests are seated in a cozy interior. Very good service. Very nice lunch and dinner menu.
