We visited Saturday teatime, spur of the moment decision. The Welsh football and Rugby was on the TV. This was not a problem anyway but it didn't interfere with our meal as the bar and restaurant area are separate and it is a large room. Well laid out tables, very friendly but courteous staff. Prices were very reasonable and the... More

The service was really good , it's a large, busy restaurant . Had booked for a birthday meal with friends. The food was ok and the portions were large.

Met up with family here again yesterday and had a nice time. The food was good (If not a little expensive for lunch) and the waitress was very friendly.

Best place In local area for a meal - if you like a substantial pub meal then this is the place for you. Portions are good, food was piping hot and very very tasty (curry had a good kick to it and not skimpy in the meat!) and prices are reasonable. Menu is not brilliant - but usual pub classics... great meals and very friendly staff, there is decking out the back where you can have a meal or drink if you have a dog with you, if it's cold there are heaters as well, it's quite hard to find any where if you have a dog with you .

If you're in the area this is probably one of the nicest I places to eat. All food is freshly cooked with an open kitchen, so nowhere to hide. Good variety.

The food is generally good, their homemade chips are incredible! But occasionally you get a bad meal, which taints the image. They seem to struggle with waiting staff, either really lovely or completely robotic... no happy medium.

Food ok but a little over priced for what it is! Has plenty of potential and could be improved on with a little bit more variation in the menu
