The restaurant is small and it's hard to get a table, but that's because the burgers and shakes are to die for and the place is often packed. We make a point to stop there every time we're in Drumheller.

Went on a Saturday at lunch time and it was packed. It has a weird order your food first then get assigned a table process, but the food was worth the wait. My wife had the Hawaiian burger that she didn't care for (not sure why she ordered it, the description is not very appealing) but the other four burgers... More

My wife and I decided to give Bernie's a try when in Drumheller. The place was lined up out the door, has a good vibe, and the staff were really good. Good looking menu, loved the alternative to the chain restaurants of the world. Unfortunately, the food didn't quite live up to the expectations and the awards. The wait was... More

My son and I visited Bernie's hoping to get a good burger. While the burger was ok - the price was to high for what we got. We also each had a poutine and a milkshake - both which were ok - but equally as high priced. In my opinion the food was not worth the price we paid.

I think I must have ordered the wrong thing, chicken burger and onion rings. Very salty but my boyfriend seemed to really enjoy his Hawaiian burger and fries. Very busy.

From the outside the building leaves you wondering, but the staff and the food more than make-up for the unassuming exterior. The Burgers are seasoned but not to an uncomfortable level and the milkshake are so thick they make the straw collapse. The flavors of milkshakes are so numeral that it is hard to choose just one. The tables are... More

Went to Bernie and the Boys Restaurant 3 times in the past. First 2 times, they were closed. Third time worked. Had to stand in line to reserve a table. You pay for your meal at the window when you order your meal. Then, you have to wait in a very small area or outside, till they have a table... More

I got the KMP (I think) burger. It was okay, personally I think the patty had too much seasoning and I didn't really care for it. Also got a kiwi milkshake and it was probably the best milkshake I've ever had!

Checked out Bernie & The Boys Bistro after having it recommended to us by the Drumheller Information Centre. This bistro was featured on You Gotta Eat There for Mammoth Burger, a 25oz monster hamburger. They also feature the Blair Wing Project, XXX wings you need to be over eighteen and sign a waiver to order. The service is 100% a... More

The building was not very clean, We were there when the restaurant was almost empty and we waited for over half an hour for greasy rink burgers. They forgot one order but when I saw what the burgers looked like I decided I wasn't missing much and didn't want to wait for it. Not cheap and not fast, for 'fast... More
