This place recently had their final service. Sad to hear. They used locally sourced veggies and meats and made some wonderful meals. You will be missed. I shall give you a 21 baguette salute.

We both had a terrible time finding anything that sounded good on the menu, and finally settled. Everything tasted the same - basically, burned Brussels sprouts. The bisquits (that you have to pay extra for, but we needed because we were still hungry) are liberally seasoned with LAVENDER. Like eating soap. HUGELY disappointed, as our dinner for two with a... Moving out from downtown Vancouver, I was excited at finding the hidden jems in the valley as I am a total foodie. After hearing good things about this place, we decided to check it out. It wasn't too hard to find as it faced the street with ample parking. The drinks came and my dining companion had a martini that... More

My Wife and I went here together with another couple, when I drove into the parking lot I was surprised to find the restaurant nestled in a group of commercial buildings, however, my concerns disappeared when we walked into what was a homely and welcoming atmosphere with decor that enhanced that view. Another contributing factor was the restaurants size which... More

My sister has been telling me about this place for a year or so and I finally got to go last Saturday Feb 26. What. A. Gem! From the outside you would hardly recognize this as a restaurant of this caliber, but it is top notch from top to bottom. The husband and wife team that run it are great... More

Adrian makes all his stock from scratch and they take HOURS to prepare. He puts care into his creations and from kitchen to table it shows! You can get frozen prepared food to go as well if you just don't feel like cooking. My other half took a couple of his cooking classes and he said they were AMAZING. They... More

As a group of industry associates, we thoroughly enjoyed our supper. The variety of entrees, with local meats and vegetables was great. Delicious desserts topped off the meal!! Great decor inside...don't judge the "book by it's cover"....as the restaurant is located in a business/industrial area.

I went to Seasonal 56 with 5 family members on a visit to the lower mainland. I can't recommend this establishment enough. The menu changes daily depending on what the local farmers can provide at the time and is always fresh. We tried a large portion of the menu as there were six of us, everybody loved what they ordered.... More

We live in the area and had always wanted to try this restaurant. We were very disappointed in the food. When we arrived the restaurant was filled with a horrible "gamey" smell like boiled rabbit or venison or some other undesirable meat and was very humid. The service was good as well as the décor, but being foodies that eat... More

I have been going to Seasonal 56 for about 5 years now. I have never had a bad experience. The food is always excellent! They serve fresh, seasonal produce, their products come from local vendors and they even bake their own breads! The owners know their customers by name and treat you very well. Shannon is amazing :) I love... More
