I came in for dinner with a friend, immediately we were greeted with a poor attitude at the front door. The lady who sat us also happened to be our server, Chantelle I believe was her name. She took our orders, brought us our appy then ignored us for the whole time it took us to finish our appetizer meanwhile... More

But the service was very slow. Not sure if it's like this all the time but it took at least 45 minutes for our food to arrive. Luckily, we weren't in a rush so it was not problem. The reason I gave Mad Chef such a high score was that the food was delicious when it finally arrived. I had... More

Went tho Mad Chef just before Christmas with an out-of-town friend who had seen its web page. Staff greeted us very warmly and made us feel welcome. Staff was attentive throughout our visit. The menu can be overwhelming. Lots of choice no matter what your appetite, and they can cater to people with "allergies" and "preferences". We all (5 of... More

We went for lunch mid-week and it was quite busy. The service was very good, and the prices reasonable. Try the Kentucky Fried Fish Burger (not what you think), it is fantastic. Lunch with a beer for $20, in and out on your lunch hour no problem.

We have eaten here for years, but went on Jan. 11/17 for lunch. The food was inferior to past lunches and both my husband and I have had diarrhea but no other flu like symptoms since then. We both had the Red Dragon soup and ceasar salads but both had different burgers. The crab and scallop burger was hardly cooked... More

We saw this place on You Gotta Eat Here, so when we rented a place near Comox we decided we needed to give it a try. All four of us had one form of a burger, 2 beef burgers for the boys, I had a chicken burger and wife had the tuna. All of them were exceptionally fresh, large and... More

Ate here after reading great reviews. Food was ok, nothing special. My daughter was served juice in a dirty plastic cup.
