We were driving through, and tried to find something different for a locale to stop at. Should have just gone to A&W The fries are McCains frozen fries, soggy and bland. The burger was ok-ish, but nothing special and not worth the price. Kinda sad looking. Hubby had to pick his apart, the canned pineapple was congealed to the plastic-cheese... More

Great dinner stop at a non-chain restaurant right on the trans-Canada highway. Many old time favourites on the menu. Delicious milkshakes! Reuben sandwich was heavenly and the loaded hotdog was a hit. Staff great and attentive.

The family stopped here enroute home. We were in the mood for a diner type meal and decor, and this place fit the expectations exactly. The food was decent, priced fairly, with good portions, and was as good as we expected. Boys loved the floats, onion rings, and fries and gravy. Parents had the fish and chips (good), and reuben... It is right on the highway with other hotels and restaurants. The decor is reminiscent of The 50's and 60's with the checkered floor tiles and red booths etc. The fish and chips were very good. The menu items are uniquely named for the era it represents.

Put it this way, I won't eat here again unless the ownership changes! Food was grease filled, so disappointed a cute diner has such a bad reputation..

This used to be a great place to eat as you were passing through town. Seems like there is new ownership. The food was sub-par, including microwaved turkey for the hot turkey sandwich, chili from a cAn and watered down milkshakes. The floors were far from clean, and the window sills appear to not have had a wipe since he... More

What's to say? Decent enough food and prices. Some of the reviews were a little harsh. Get over it, it's not a five star french restuarant, it's a diner. My family and I enjoyed very much. Do not hesitate to try.

This place used to be a whole lot better, and a whole lot cleaner. Food was mediocre, including frozen carrots and watery milkshakes. Dirty floors, garbage on windowsills. Save your money. Skip it and head into the town proper for a better meal.

Well, it isn't fancy but the food is a solid 4/5. We usually stop here for lunch as the other highway restaurants are all fast food options. The pizza is GOOD! The burgers are great and the service is friendly and fast. The theme is 50's diner with the usual diner fare. My husband had the turkey soup and loved... More
