If you are thinking you've stumbled into a cool "Diners, Drive-ins and Dives" kind of place with some delectable food - you'd be wrong! Perhaps I should have ordered a burger and fries - the ones going past to other patrons looked juicy. I can, however vouch against the clam chowder which was a tasteless, flour-laden mess of gruel! The... More

We stopped for lunch en route to Revelstoke. Unique 1950/60's diner environment. (Authentic "diner tacky.") Kind of fun. Service was fast and friendly and our food was of good quality. Lots of 1950's props, photos and memorabilia and even a small souvenir store at the entrance. My wife and I have nothing negative to report. Legendz is not your run... More

Put us in the back area where their kids were playing all over, no service what so ever, dropped the food off and never saw anyone again, no refills, food was gross, oh except for the chilli that came from a can! What else can I say! Was there when original owners had it and it was like stepping back... More

Very nice 50's style dinner with all day breakfast and big lunch menu. We ordered an oatmeal, two poached eggs on the side and a hot-dog with soup of the day (clam chowder). The hotdog was very tasty and big enough to function as a filling lunch. The oatmeal was of decent size and together with the two eggs filled... More

We've stopped here a couple times on our way between BC and Alberta, and have never been really impressed. It's very average. On our last visit we tried the Fish & Chips, which was fine. What can they do wrong? It's not freshly made - it's all just frozen and then deep fried. So that was okay, as expected, for... More

Just the absolute worst possible place you could go, everything was very dirty and unclean. We ordered eggs and toast and then a blt sandwich, fries were frozen and somehow the eggs weren't cooked properly. Which is a pretty difficult thing to mess up. Service wasn't great either. Over all bad review and would not recommend it to anyone. With... More

Take a trip back in time in dining. Retro decor and menu take you back in time. Excellent milkshakes and generous portions. Decent prices. Pleasant waitress, good service and hot food. A bonus was the gluten free bread for my real turkey clubhouse. This is not your usual restaurant as it replicates a 50's diner, but we left having enjoyed... More

Typical old-school diner fare, and they have it all. I had the Monte Cristo sandwich on rye, which was average, and came with some beef barley soup that was more barley and yesterday's gravy than beef, veggies and soup broth. But tasty. The coffee could be better for a true diner experience!

Our meals were both very good although a bit on the pricey side. Service was a bit slow but friendly. It was your typical diner atmosphere so it was loud. The location is handy right on the highway when travelling through Golden.
