Driving back to Vancouver, we stopped in Hope for gas. Then though we would have a bit to eat. The place was busy, but had many empty tables. After getting our table we waited 10 minutes to order. Total time from setting down to getting food was 40 minutes.I wanted to leave before then but was over ruled by everyone else.... More

There is nothing in this world like the Hope Drive in for pies. They are excellent and there is a broad selection. It is also a full service family restraurant, with a ice cream stand built in (you can access it from outside). Good prices and friendly staff.

We had to stop in Hope for some repairs. The Hope Drive In was a short walk and came highly recommended both by the staff at the garage as well as a truck driver. Any time a truck driver gives a restaurant a thumbs up, it has to be good. It was really good. I little pricey for a Drive... More

Stopped for a late afternoon lunch while on a motorcycle trip. Had a big Caesar salad but succumbed to the allure of raisin pie. Was so impressed that I came back a few days later and had on omelette. Love this place just wish I didn't live 900km away.

This is the "Last Place" to fuel up your car and get a meal before driving to the Okanagan. It is good as far as highway truck stops are concerned. Plenty of fat and calories to keep you full for a few hours. Coming back to Vancouver though, I would keep driving till I reach at least Langley to eat.

We tried this place on our last pass through and was pleasantly surprised. Not a greasy spoon but a good eatery instead. My wife had the halibut and fries and I tried the BLT with a tossed salad.

Stopped On our way back to lower mainland was hot and had our dog. Decided on take out and sit out back with our dog in the shade. Burger and fries were good however when I was finished my shake there was a chunk in the bottom so I took off the lid and thought I'd just drink the last... More

Diner style food done right.... Not splashy, not trying to be something it's not - just a good old fashioned diner with great service!
