Food was disappointing. The fries were very dry. Got a new batch but just the same. Service was very friendly though. Should have checked reviews from other restaurants int he area.

Went to try a couple burgers. Asked if they would cut them in half so we could sample each other's. Was told it's against food safe... it isn't by the way.... I don't like being lied to so we left...

Stopped for dinner on our way down to Vancouver. Picked this place thanks to the reviews on trip advisor (thanks guys!) and we're very happy with the meal. It's certainly a simple diner with warm comfort food. I had the Mac and cheese and my partner the schnitzel. The place is clean, the servers polite, and the food was great... More

You know the food is good if this is where the locals go.. The food was hot and fresh.. The salad was fresh and crisp.. The homemade desserts were out of this world.. Every kind a homemade pies you can think of.. Great Friendly service..

This is a superb diner with an extensive menu and appears to always have a queue which is a good indication of its quality. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and food was excellent and plentiful. We had the meatloaf, which was to die for, and blueberry pie and prices are extremely competitive. An excellent restaurant

Been going there for 45 years and the mushroom burgers have always been excellent. The pie display is amazing and tastes even better. It was worth the 30 minute wait to have a good, no great meal. Been going since I was 15 years old!

The food is served on large portions and is amazing, they don't try to make anything fancy and unique (or overly greasy or heavily spiced) which actually sets it apart from other restaurants, but it is a wee bit small for a sit down restaurant. Since it's one of the first places you come across if you take the first... More

We came off the highway into Hope to buy fuel and get a coffee. Home restaurant was one of the first places we saw and we were attracted by the fact there was a (short) queue out of the door. That usually signifies to us that a place is popular and, therefore, probably good! We were seated after about a... More
