If you like Spatzle or Egg's Benny - those are the specialties of the house! Yum Yum - you will enjoy the creative variations of the Spatzle or Benny, and usually also have a great soup of the day as well. Cozy surroundings, great for families and for a casual enjoyable connection with friends. Ordered a Lemon Cake (be sure... More

We were disappointed to learn that the eggs benedict (some of the best I've ever had) is only served on weekends. So I had to settle for possibly the best omelette I've ever had. Vienna is the place for breakfast in Nelson. If eating in a book store isn't enough to convince you, the quality will. The service wasn't my... More

Visited Vienna cafe on a Saturday and it was packed. Ordered eggs Bennie and it was great. Restaurant staff were a bit overwhelmed with the number of customers but food was worth the wait and confusion. Coffee was great too!!

A great place to enjoy a pretty reasonable breakfast. When you're done, you can go hunting for some great books, or beef up your vinyl collection. Breakfast entrees run from $6 - 14. Coffee is VERY good.

What an amazing, ecclectic diner. It shares its space with a used bookstore which adds to its ecclectic ambiance. Vienna cafe has been established in Nelson for over 120 years. The menu is limited but each dish is delicious.

Super cute cafe, there is a bookstore and a kids play corner inside the restaurant which makes it really accommodating for family's. We really enjoyed the eggs Benny and they had lots of variety to choose from.

Had breakfast here. Staff had failed to turn in for work so a bit of a wait. Breakfast menu similar to many in Canada/USA. Typical diner style tables. Poached eggs on toast absolutely fine but it seemed to be a small problem to have an extra piece of toast instead of the bacon or potatoes that came with it. Server... More

Good breakfast, really nice service and a good atmosphere linked to the bookshop next to it. It had even good prices:)

My husband and I have visited the cafe for breakfast a few times. I enjoy the friendly service and library/bookstore atmosphere. The food is tasty (specifically the breakfast sandwich), and the price is right. Very local and cute.

We always love the food, fresh and wholesome and ever so tasty! But as much as this we love the atmosphere of Pack Rat Annies which is part of the Vienna Cafe. Here one can browse used books [which you can take to your table while eating and peruse] Cd's and Vinyl new and used. Bonus, one can also listen... More
