All reviews seafood linguine crab garlic bread creme brulee burger prestige lakeside resort easter weekend overlooking the lake lovely evening sit outside menu items on tap patio server chef chris lounge
We went here for the burger week entry, and it was delicious. The piece of fish was huge, the burger was well balanced in flavour and the lattice fries and beet chips added a nice texture.
I always have really good food here, love to...support this place, and of course it’s got the best patio in town. They shine in their seafood selection and flavours!More
We stayed in the Prestige Lake Resort and so ate in the restaurant. It is a great location overlooking the bay and is an obvious draw for tourists.
The menu offers reasonable choice and during 'happy hour' we had a dozen oysters at a 'buck...a shuck'. They were very good but interestingly the server we saw told us that the offer was no longer available until I showed her the 'flyer' I had in my hotel room.
We ate outside on the patio which was averagely busy. We were able to see the food ordered by others and 'played safe' for dinner. We had a burger and fish and chips. it was well cooked and pleasant enough.
The servers were pleasant and effective although we did have to find a manager to get a bill as we had waited for some considerable time. It seems our server had taken a break.More
We visited the West Coast Grill a couple of days ago, and were very disappointed. .
We are two professional chefs and restaurateurs and we have never seen a place less organized than this. the waiters are not trained, and much more interested in chatting...with the pretty girls than service.. The chairs on the patio are cheap plastic and way to low to have a comfortable dining experience. After a long wait we finally got a waiter, the table of 4 behind us left because no one came to take their order. We had a couple of bottles of wine, mediocre at best. we had some west coast clams with a spicy sausage that did not belong in there, The salmon burger was well presented but dry and tasteless. the noodle dish was ok. Our waiter stood opposite me and I had to repeat the order a few times before he got it. I guess he was to lazy to walk around the table to hear the order!
It took a long time to get the orders out, but we had time and were not in any hurry. The only thing at this place that was first class were the prices on the menu.
Then to top it all off we had to ask for a code at the reception to use the bathroom! The key lock was hard to see and in a dark area. The bathrooms were not clean, paper all over the place. We have never seen such bull; a code to use a bathroom in a hotel that claims to be first class This place needs some serious upgrade in staff and foremost training. we will not visit this place again and also not recommend it to our friends.More
Went with a group, not my choice. Lovely venue beautiful patio. The food was horrible. BBQ was not hot Luke warm at best. Ribs and chicken were tough and over cooked as were the mushy veggies. Desserts were great the wine good and cold. Way...to expensive for bad food. Go for a drink on patio eat someplace else.More
It couldn't have been better. The food was fresh and savory - cooked to perfection. Plus we got to eat out on the deck, on a beautiful day, overlooking the harbor and lake.
Their menu had so many good choices. If we were staying longer...I definitely would have gone back.
The restaurant is in the Prestige Lakeside resort, so it's very convenient if you're staying there.More
Had dinner with my wife. Ordered hot pot and calamari for appetizer which was really good. Waiter was new but friendly and attentive. Main ordered Lamb shank and crab man cheese. Both were just ok. Beautiful view although we dinned inside because of the weather.
