Had the scone with peppers and cheese and it was awesome! Was hard to decide what to choose as everything looked so tasty! They only take cash though so we couldn't buy as much as we'd like but look forward to trying something else next time!

Goodheart bread, fresh baked pies, date squares, cookies as big as plates and fresh brewed coffee are my Old World Bakery staples while I'm in the area (and being active enough to justify all the deliciousness). The staff are really the best. The new location on the highway in town is really handy for heading back out to the North... More

This is actually for the Old world Bakery that is in Balfour BC near the Ferry Terminal. They have the best baked goods that I have found anywhere-from fresh bread, pizza, sausage rolls to the yummiest pastries, fresh chocolates and the best Turtle bars any where. Everything fresh and the staff friendly and welcoming. Take cash only though.

Great bread, pizza tastes like cardboard. I'd have the bread again, but the pizza.... Nope. The post makes you write 100 characters, but I think I already got the point across

We went to the ferry terminal location and shared a veggie wrap.Verry creative combination of ingredients.. Try it you'll like it. Then we bought by some baked goods to take with us. I am not kidding...the ginger cookie was sooo very very good. The Best!!! If you like ginger you'll love this cookie. The chocolate brownie unfortunately looked better than it... More

We were walking through Nelson and had to try this place. The peanut butter cookies were fantastic and everything looked good. I will be going back.

Haven't eaten here but 6 years ago my husband and I came here and had the best London fog ever. We have always talked about having to get another next time we came through. Today we did and still is the best London fog we've ever tasted!!

Terrible, overpriced food. The roast potatoes were soggy and had nutmeg of all things on them. Their English muffins are essentially stale hamburger buns. Coffee was $2.75 for a weak cup and nearly $4 for a scone. The surroundings have no charm and felt dirty.

Always stop at this place when we are waiting for the Ferry. Had a scone this time, but have never had anything bad from here. Prices are reasonable and the food is outstanding. Selection varies on the time of day. Coffee is good too.
