The person looking after the property was very friendly but we were very disappointed with the property. If we hadn’t paid non-refundable ahead of time we would have looked for alternate accommodation. The reasons are as follows: First night was a write-off as patio door...lock did not work so we had to wait for locksmith to repair it. As friendly as he was we weren't in the mood to listen to his thoughts on virtual reality goggles. Yup, you read that right. Then we spent over an hour looking for one of our cellphones which in the end turned out that the property manager, who was present at the lock reparations, picked up and left with it. Said she thought it was her daughter's. No kidding! Next we discovered that the water heater didn't work so now we're waiting for the plumber. Add some more time to our big night out in Dublin. We had been traveling all day and were ripe for a shower which didn't happen until much later. Considering we checked in at around 3 we spent the next 5 hours getting the place fixed. But wait, there's more: the apartment smells like sewer especially in the bathroom, foor was sticky so didn’t want to be without socks fire extinguisher kept falling out of the wall so we eventually just left it on a chair. Considering we only stayed a few days there are probably more things that need to be addressed in this place and in my humble opinion condemning it is not out of the question. As our final week in a month-long visit to the Emerald Isle, which up to this point was extremely wonderful, this left an absolutely bad taste in our mouthes. Martin SharrenMore
