Our 3rd time here for dinner. Hubby thought the salmon wellington was excellent. As I have celiac disease I found the menu a bit limited. I was in the mood for salmon, however, didn't want it as described on the menu eg. on salad greens. The very helpful server and kitchen staff put together a salmon/rice/veggie dinner for me! Reasonable... More

We arrived for lunch at 4 pm. Unfortunately we were unable to sit outside as there were minors I. Our group so sat inside at a t an le in the hallway.. Less than ideal. The restaurant was out of flathead and only had a few vegan options. Very disappointed when the bill came and we were charged full price... More

Found the menu to be very limited. Ended up opting to do appies and dessert. Ordered Honey Garlic Wings and Peanut butter Pie. The wings were awful. They were small and had been cooked in the deep fryer for far too long. Parts were crunchy. The sauce was added almost as an afterthought. One good thing is that there were... More

After walking for miles and miles on the beach, this restaurant was a welcome place for breakfast. Good coffee, and I loved their traditional breakfast. All at a reasonable cost! The staff was outstandingly warm and friendly, but didn't hover. Perfect!

Even for a captive resort crowd the food is really poor. We had six people that all rated their meals as poor. I ordered the steak from the special daily list cooked rare and it was served well done. It was so fatty that I didn't want to attempt another one rare. The fried chicken was mostly black it was... More

Dear Jim B, I'm glad to hear that your found your service friendly and attentive. We strive to excel with our service. I am disappointed to hear that you didn't enjoy our feature ribeye steak and found it to be fatty and cooked improperly, and the fried chicken was overdone. We ate at Cedars twice while at the Tigh Na Mara. Food was excellent both times. Our server David at dinner was absolutely amazing. Certainly one of the best servers we've ever had. Made our dinner an experience we won't soon forget.

The location of the Cedars restaurant overlooks the treed area around the Tigh-na-mara hotel. The service we had for breakfast and dinner was really inattentive. We had to serve ourselves for many items. The steak I had was half fat. They claimed certain foods were gluten free but the reaction to the food showed the server either did not communicate... More

This restaurant was recommended as the best place to eat in town.... Really ?? Our meals were very disappointing, to say the least. My husband ordered a steak with a blue cheese sauce. The meat was poor quality, the blue cheese sauce - where was it ? Oh yes, there was one teaspoon of something in top of the meat.... More
