This place reminds me of a typical UK pub. The architectural design of the hunting lodge. The outdoor patio seating. The food and drink menu and great vista. The staff are excellent. Find your table, indoors or outdoors, and order your food inside. Try it all, we did over our week next door at a Tanglewood property.

We enjoyed taking our orders to the "snug". Excellent food and a great range of beers. Service was first rate and the atmosphere was very casual, but very efficient and engaging.

We went for a drink and dinner to meet out of province friends. Ordered a dark beer and was brought a lager. The bar staff would not admit that the beer was not a dark beer, nor would they take it back and pour us a proper one. One beer! Reluctantly we ordered dinner as we were tight for time... More

Went here with a large family group, because they had been staying on site. Pub has nice big garden, but it was getting shaded and cold in evening, but we stayed outside. Pub design modelled on assumptions about what an English pub should be like - and not a bad design. Good range of beers and wines. Food was typical... More

Get here early as the food can be slow when busy. Food was hearty & tasty but the garden was the reason we would come back. So lovely!

I've written better reviews than this. We went, we saw, we wait, we ate. Okay, so perhaps this was not the greatest idea for a timely meal. We placed our orders for meals and drinks at the bar inside, and went outside with a number on a post to indicate our table. Good, good, we sat and waited for about... More

A really nice surprise. The food and beer choices are great but expect long wait when the place is busy. Yet if you're not in a rush just sit outside and enjoy your pint with a view of the sea. They also had live music on the night we were there and the guy was very good. We had a... More

If you want to pay for the privilege of sitting outside near the beach in the sun, then fine. Because the prices are up there and the food is definitely not. Service can be snotty too. But hey, some people tell me they like it. If price is no object, go up the road to the Beachclub (great food) to... More

My wife and I took the trouble to visit this restaurant earlier in the day in order to reserve a table for dinner at 7.30pm that evening. We told the hostess that we specifically wanted a quiet table location and she invited us to select the table we wanted and placed a reserved sign on it. When we turned up... More

This pub is located in a heritage building with a nice view of the beach. The restaurant is spread out through several rooms which is different but can be fun. The food menu is a bit limited but I had the chicken pot pie which was HUGE. The flavour was very nice but it was just too big a serving... More
