There is anything on this menu run by two lovely ladies and used by many of the locals -some might say it's like a 'greasy spoon' but don't be put off and you will have plenty to eat - then enjoy the beautiful harbour views

Great old time food cooked on a grill right behind the counter. Coffee on the burner by the door. Very local with many friends meeting here for breakfast

People were very very friendly! Food is a BIG portion and location is great. There's a big board with choices and you can make your dish your 'own'

I had come the the Blue Door in happy spirits... Smile on my face.. I've been a server for 14 years so I always make sure to actually greet the waitress with... You guessed it. A smile. It was kind of a dive ( but aren't all the good breakfast places ) She sat us with the most dismal smile... More

This greasy-spoon-type restaurant is a haven for anyone who just wants good, normal food. You can watch your delicious home-style breakfast being made on the grill right in front of the counter, and the server and cook are smart, quick, and friendly.

I am an early riser, usually I go for a jog, especially when visiting a new place. It helps me locate restaurants and attractions. On this trip however we rented a Mustang Convertible to drive Vancouver Island and it was a beautiful morning. With the top down I went looking to quench my thirst for a morning coffee. I happened... For consistently delicious breakfasts and a bit of banter with the owner, we return to this café whenever we are in Pt. Alberni. Seating is at 3 long shared tables or at the counter, food is plentiful & nutritious and Sheila, the owner, dishes up meals and retorts without garnishing either. Locals are greeted with humorous repartee. Don't expect to... More

Nice cheery friendly little restaurant. Located at the Quay in Port Alberni. Good food and large servings. Friendly staff, reasonable prices. You couldn't ask for anything more. Locals love the place. Tourists who happen in have a great experience.

The Blue door is always a good place for homemade breakfast. Open early for the fishermen. A small town Cafe feel to it.
