We ended up here one night cause the place we wanted to go was full on a Sat night. Turned out to be a good choice. Food was resonantly priced with large serving sizes. My partner was impressed with the amount of seafood he got in his teriyaki dish. Service was really friendly and we had no trouble getting a... More

This was our family's New Year's Eve dinner, we were welcomed by a smilling Aussie and a friendly staff, my daughter has a disability and a service dog, so they found a big large table for us by the window. The kitchen staff and the sushi chef did a great job with our food, our Sushi plates were fresh and... More

It was fine, but not worth a return trip for us. The agedashi tofu was unpalatable, the rolls were unexciting (think grocery store). The toro sashimi was great, the sunomono was great... However, I asked the waitress for a half order of sashimi as I was still hungry (didn't eat the agedashi tofu, and we weren't asked about it), she... More

Went to the Frisby Ridge Teriyaki Resuaurant, in Revelstoke British Columbia, Canada this evening. We were greeted immediately and seated right away as we had a reservation. There seemed to be a bus tour group already dining and the restaurant was quite busy. Nevertheless, we were given menus, made our choices and our order was taken promptly. You may think... More

Good experience. Sat at the counter, watching the sushi chefs (Korean) ply their trade. Restaurant is centrally located, service was not rushed. Owner or manager clearly has a good relationship with local clientele. Can be seen acknowledging and welcoming customers. A nice thing to see. The restaurant is clean. No need to use the W.C, so can't honestly comment on... More

Sushi was ok. It was fresh. .lacked a little creativity and was pretty bare bones. No sauces or funky extras. 13.00$ for a 5 piece roll was a bit much. Tempura in spider roll was limp and pale yellow..seemed undercooked.

I love sushi and eat it often. To be honest I was a bit concerned about Canadian sushi. I had visions of walleye and Muskie. But I was very pleasantly suprised by the quality of this sushi. We had a Ginja roll, rainbow roll and a spider roll and all were excellent. The edemame was fresh and not chewy, I... More
