This restaurant was right across the street from our hotel which is why we choose it. We ordered a combination plate which was very nice.

Discovered this place while driving through Revelstoke as my wife had a rice craving and what a great find! They were just closing for the afternoon as it was 2 pm but they let us order takeout and I was surprised to find that they only served wild salmon! This is something that many of the cheap sushi places in... More

The Kawakubo is a world class restaurant in a beautiful, exciting town. We had and shared a California roll with spicy salmon, tempura shrimp, and a chef's roll with tuna. Salmon, and hamachi. Each was prepared to perfection. The sticky rice held together but wasn't at all gummy. The rolls had so much fish, so fresh you could taste the... More

The food here is always amazing. Great staff, will accommodate gluten free/diary free diets, and be nice about it! Lunch specials are killer.

The atmosphere, food and staff are all amazing at Kawakubo. The sushi is fresh and just delightful. There is no feeling of being rushed and you can always order more if the first round tasted too good to stop. Gluten free soy sauce available on request.

The kids and us love sushi, we tend to go to the same place back home all the time. Kawakubo blew our socks off. The staff was terrific! And the food, I'm still thinking about it. They had in house creations that were fantastic! Who knew you could get such high quality sushi in Revelstoke? We tend to go through... More

It's hard to find bad sushi, easy to find good sushi and sometimes you find something a bit special. Kawakubo presentation of the food, and take on sushi brings a little something special to the experience. Kawakubo rolls, nigiri, salads are creative and presented very well. We order everything from sashimi and battleships to rolls with steak and onion filling... More

Stopped by for lunch, while on a road trip, needing some healthy food. Service was fast, food quality and quantity was good, and prices were reasonable. Highly recommended.
