Good Location. Food all tastes the same. Extremely loud and hard on the ears. Lost its unique feel. Highly recommend making a reservation, if you want a table, before the Aussies take them. A bit pricy!

3 of us stopped here in middle of road trip based on TA reviews. We were not disappointed. All items were great. Fish tacos, hamburgers, stir fry were all delicious. This is obviously a popular hangout. The restaurant was completely full by the time we left.

We were travelling around BC for 10 days and we stopped in Revelstoke for 2 nights. It's a fairly small area, and it seemed to be in the lull in between the busy summer and ski season, so we hit it at the right time. We found The Village Idiot on Yelp and it was so good the first night,... More

What a great place! We had to wait a long time to get our food, but the wait was quickly forgotten when the food arrived. It was SO GOOD! There is nothing better than when a restaurant takes simple casual food fare such as Panzerotti (a big calzone) and the Hippie Dip trio appetizer, and uses such good ingredients that... More

Good place to grab a bite. Local and unique. Everybody seems at place here. Food choice not bad, housemade pizza is alright. Offers local revelstoke beer. Had the Nasty Habit, if you like hoppy beer - this is it.

Went there for supper. Was a loud place to be. Food was ok, but, you could not talk very well. We would try it again to see if it's normal.

We now go to the Village Idiot each time we visit Revelstoke. They make the absolute best nachos there. My sister in law had the poutine and said that was great too! Good service to boot!

Great interior decked out with skis and snowboards, some of the furniture is even made out of them. Good pub food. Recommend the blue cheese burger.

Thank Linda P
