We arrived in Revelstoke today and decided on this place for lunch based on other reviews. It was really nice lunch - the Idiot Twists to start were fantastic! Great Salad! The blue cheese burger was good but not great. A person sitting near us...More

Was in Revelstoke for a few days of skiing and had dinner at the Village Idiot. It is one of the places you have to visit in Revelstoke. Great food, great drinks and a great time!

Lots of activity and people enjoying themselves. Lots of TVs to watch sports. The small pizza is big, I took home half but it was excellent.

Friendly environment in a comfy place. Good to hang around with friends. Reasonable pricing. Not too many healthy choices though!

Great food. Steak was perfectly cooked. Fun atmosphere. Gets pretty busy. Service was great. Seating is long tables, you do get to know your neighbor!

Have eaten here a number of times over the past year. We have never been disappointed. It does get extremely busy during the Christmas Holiday and Ski season but it is an excellent watering hole to try to visit in this restaurant packed city,

Let’s face it, this is a pub not a restaurant. There were no signs anywhere that we needed to get in a list to be seated. We took a table and waited there 20 minutes until some rude lady came to tell us we needed...More

So sorry for the late response. As no one in our group has nut allergies, I am not qualified to say one way or the other.

Yes it is. As the Village Idiot is, I believe, a food primary restaurant children are permitted as late as they're open.
