Visited the location Nov.22/16 - Had their signature Fish and Chips just to re-confirm they are the best in our area. This visit was no exception, just the right amount of batter, light and crispy and the french fries were well done as well. Try to visit this location anytime I want a good feed of fish and chips. Excellant food and service. Plus eating on the outer end of the pier gave a great view of the harbour. Would recommend it to everyone.

Locating this restaurant even with GPS was difficult, but worth the effort because the food is great, the service was friendly and at times funny, the atmosphere is good, relaxed and they have great coconut cream pie. Best of all, it's not expensive. All six in our party loved this place.

I have to say that while good, this was not the best fish and chips I've had in NS. (Some of those road side shacks are amazing!) The service, however, was the best I've had in years, and I loved the coastal decore. The prices were very reasonable and our fish and scallops came in about 10 minutes. I've paid... More

Most followers of my FOODIES know I tend to search out a great seafood experience and particularly enjoy putting fish and chips to the test. Returning from New Brunswick with friends recently, we stopped at Masstown Market knowing that Catch of the Day would be a great place for a seafood fix but alas they have closed for the season.... Not so easy to find, but Truro is complicated. Nautical decor. Huge portions, friendly people, really first-rate fish and chips.

Service is good, great fish, but I found their chips were to salty. They don't have homemade fries which they should have where they claim to be the best in Canada.

Nicely cooked fried fish and chips - Not too much batter and not overly greasy (but it is fish and chips). Highly recommended if you are looking for fish and chips.
