It has been quite awhile since my last visit here. I had enjoyed the food in the past but this time upon walking in I was hit with a "barn-like" smell. I had a Papa Joe burger and fries and enjoyed the food. The service was great and friendly as well. It was a bit pricey for a burger, fries... More

We had family pop into town unexpectedly the other day, and they wanted to take us out to lunch. They lived in Yarmouth decades ago, and spoke very fondly of Jo-Anne's, and asked if we could go. Having never been before, we were up for trying it. It's delicious! Our group ranged from a 3.5 year old to a great-grandmother,... More

On our recent visit to Yarmouth, we ate lunch here every day! Our server Vicky was great. This used to be Harris' Quick-N-Tasty, the food was excellent then and it is good to see that the tradition has been carried on. You can tell this is a great restaurant by the number of locals who eat here. The food is... More

The Quick and Tasty is a traditional diner style restaurant that's been going for decades. They have the best seafood chowder in an area known for such dishes, and they invented the Hot Lobster Sandwich (creamed lobster over bread) in the 1950's. Their lobster roll is exceptional as is the lobster poutine, and their fishcakes are also the best in... More

The food and service here was excellent. We had a platter of seafood and it was all very good. Lots of food and even the desserts are amazing! If you like peanut butter pie this is the place to get it!

Well let me tell you the first thing you will notice as you walk in is the smell. Smells like a barn. After you are used to the smell lol... waitress are very friendly. Food is tasty but the portions are small. But it's very clean and they are fast.

We made an impulsive stop here; and are very glad that we did so! An impressive interior; which is vintage in an authentic way; with the servers in really awkward uniforms and booths gave the space a 1950s diner vibe. I doubt that many of the menu options have changed from the 1950s either. I had the lobster club and... More

This old favourite is still producing great seafood especially their iconic Creamed Lobster. The new addition is the availability of Gluten Free bread for their sandwiches including their not to be missed Hot Lobster Sandwich. Friendly staff although not always the best service. Their desserts are made in house and their lemon pie is described as a mile high.
