The food and service here was excellent. We had a platter of seafood and it was all very good. Lots of food and even the desserts are amazing! If you like peanut butter pie this is the place to get it!

Well let me tell you the first thing you will notice as you walk in is the smell. Smells like a barn. After you are used to the smell lol... waitress are very friendly. Food is tasty but the portions are small. But it's very clean and they are fast.

We made an impulsive stop here; and are very glad that we did so! An impressive interior; which is vintage in an authentic way; with the servers in really awkward uniforms and booths gave the space a 1950s diner vibe. I doubt that many of the menu options have changed from the 1950s either. I had the lobster club and... More

This old favourite is still producing great seafood especially their iconic Creamed Lobster. The new addition is the availability of Gluten Free bread for their sandwiches including their not to be missed Hot Lobster Sandwich. Friendly staff although not always the best service. Their desserts are made in house and their lemon pie is described as a mile high.

I always said they had the best fish and chips in Yarmouth. And the best lobster poutine in Yarmouth. But this year the quality is just not there! The serving sizes are much much smaller than before but the prices are the same. And the quality of the food has gone down. Been there 3 different times this season hoping... More

On a visit to Yarmouth recently we stopped for lunch at the Quick and Tasty. I have eaten here every time I have come to Yarmouth. That would be for the last 50 years. It has always been delicious, affordable, and friendly. There is no skimping on real lobster, clams, scallops, or any other sea creature. It is without doubt... More

The Quick 'n Tasty is a Yarmouth staple, though it has changed hands a few times. Food is always fresh and, yes, quick and tasty. Seafood chowder is great; pies, especially the lemon or date meringue, are spectacular.

A place that serves breakfast in Yarmouth but a typical how do you want your eggs? It is a nice dinner that serves a simple and light meal. They must serve a lot of fish as you have to hold your nose to get in fast. People like to talk with you as it is a friendly place to eat

We wanted to grab a bite after shopping in Yarmouth and thought we'd give Joanne's a try. The food is basic Nova Scotia diner fare, lots of deep fried food. The food was okay, but the service was less than stellar. Our server was more interested in counting her tip money and complaining to the other server about how she... More
