The Tremont is one of my favourite places in Collingwood - to eat, to relax and socialize, and it houses artists' studios on the second floor which are all worth checking out. The food is definitely higher end, with very skilled chefs at the helm. There is some modest adjustments made throughout the year to emphasize seasonal vegetables and dishes.... More

The atmosphere was nice, the waitress was kind and everybody at our table enjoyed their food. Two of us asked for our steaks rare... they came out more like medium well... We were offered a new steak but had already been waiting a while.

We went to the tremont Cafe reading about their brunch menu , we were in for a disappointment coz they serve brunch only on weekends 😳 So we were contemplating whether to go somewhere else but decided against it since we'd paid for rate parking already ! And boy we got lucky !!! The beverages , the appetizers , mains... More

Through a recommendation from someone on the Main Street, we chose the Tremont to have dinner. We were early, 5;30 p.m. They were very busy and expecting a large group but they accommodated us nonetheless and we were so pleased. The lamb and the soup and salads were awesome. Our waitress was just a delight as well as efficient. We... More

The Tremont Cafe is a special place. The historical and beautifully renovated building is stunning and each food experience I've had there has been exceptional. Brunch on Sunday with colleagues from UK was delightful, they were duly impressed.

I can understand how sometimes you can get a tough piece of meat, and it's not that they didn't offer me another one. But I had waited a long time for the 'added' steak to my Gorgonzola mushroom salad (slow service in a not very busy lunchtime venue) and I honestly didn't want to wait for another one to cook.... We each enjoyed a light lunch of appetizers. Very tasty artichoke/cheese dip with very good local bread. Also had mushroom soup of the day with similar locally baked crusty bread.

We hadn't been in ages for brunch here, but I am so glad we decided to have Sunday brunch here!
