pleasant surprise

Great spot in a beautiful century building with great ambiance and quality menu. It's nice to find a good restaurant in a small community.

The service and the presentation was over-the-top. The tastes were incredible but unfortunately, the food did not sit well with us. To their credit, the flourless chocolate cake was the best I have tasted! We'll stick with your amazing dessert and coffees from now on!

Lookking for a place for lunch, I drove into a side street on a whim. Up ahead we could see a sunroom beside a historic building with people seated in it and decided to check it out. What we found is a relaxed, artsy cafe style restaurant with a creative menu. We enjoyed our first visit so much that we... More

We visited for lunch on a Sunday in late February. It's a cool location in a historic building, with friendly service and an extensive menu. Lovely high windows let in lots of light and the wood floors help to dampen the sounds, creating a lazy atmosphere on a sunny winter afternoon. We enjoyed our meals and we are looking forward... We went to Tremont for dinner on a Sunday night, so it wasn't too busy. We were seated in a corner with windows on both sides so we were able to watch the snow flakes float down. Our server was very attentive and followed up with us several times during the meal. There were 7 of us for dinner and... More

we often pop into The Tremont Café for a quick lunch or afternoon snack. the atmosphere is relaxed and inviting. the best time of year is in the summer when you can sit outside on the large patio - perfect for a cold refreshment on a hot summer afternoon. the menu is a bit limited but each item is faultlessly... We had heard good things but were disappointed with our meal. My scallop appetizer consisted of one and a half scallops, the wasabi and aoli sauce was tasty but the scollops were rubbery from over cooking. My chicken supreme was over cooked as well. My wife had the French onion soup, it was full of bread not onions and lacked... More

I took my wife for dinner and everything we ordered was great. The ambience was perfect for a date, my wife loved it! Nice wine selection and the staff was very attentive. Really made for a great getaway.

We had brunch having received a tip from a group of ladies. The café is in the front of what was once a hotel near the train station in grander times. The staff was great and the Eggs Benedict was done perfectly with a twist using a potato base versus an English Muffin. Food came out quick and we thoroughly... More

We had a large group with a show deadline. Christof and staff did an excellent job, kept us on schedule to make our show. The food was well prepared and delicious.
