Waitress was quick-in not a good way. She was almost rude in her demeanor. Food was great, although when you say to the waitress nothing spicy you don't expect the fresh chilis all over your food. Thanks for that. Don't be all that--we are the customers, if we aren't returning--you are out of a job, no? Again--Food was Great! Cheers... More

My wife and I spent a Saturday in Collingwood, going to the market and walking the main drag. Since our car was parked near the Huron Club, we decided to have lunch there. It was around 1 pm. The place was virtually empty so we took a table out on the patio. Great so far. We were given menus and... More

More barish than expected, but it was a nice atmosphere and a good set-up for live entertainment. The service was excellent, as was the food. We started with P.E.I. Mussels with smoked trout & Collingwood whisky cream … outstanding. I highly recommend this dish! I has the fish and chips. The fries were very good but the fish was just... More

Dropped in last night for a fast dinner - cozied up to the bar, grabbed a gin and tonic ( it's still summer). The burger is very tasty, cooked properly, and is topped with thick maple bacon. A perfect bun and it oozes flavour. The servers did a great job meeting my request for a quick meal and I was... More

Great mussels and bread to go with this meal. Tried all three sauces and were pleasantly surprised by the smoked trout and whisky cream, but the favorite was the curry. Our server was knowledgeable about the wines and very pleasant.

No trip to Collingwood is complete without visiting The Huron Club. We always enjoy the food and service when we come here. There is entertainment on the weekend and there is always something fun going on. We especially love the cauliflower appetizer! It is soooo good. When we first tried it, we shared. Not anymore!! Now we each get our... More

We were visiting friends in Collingwood and went for supper at the Huron Club. We were fortunate that they had room for us because we didn't have reservations. We went on Tuesday evening and had their Tuesday special, a schnitzel with hunter sauce and fresh vegetables. The meal was reasonably priced and was very good.

Reservations were for 7.15 pm for eight. After a long afternoon of golf, expectations were high. Arrived early [6.50] and were seated at a large table. The atmosphere was great. Our young male waiter was courteous and accommodating and welcomed us and poured water and took drink orders. After several minutes our dinner orders were taken. Monday is "All You... More

I love the Huron Club. Everyone who works there is super friendly and cool. Their food is great (I reckon that I've tried everything on the menu by now) and they have a solid beer selection on tap. The patio is awesome and I love going for live music in the summer, keep up the good work!

Restaurant that offers great food in your choice of 3 settings. A main dinning room, a bar with TV's and live entertainment or dinning on their patio. Nice options.

Description
The Huron Club embodies what Collingwood is all about. It's a family business that has that family touch. Every diner's experience is personal. The staff are engaging and friendly, the food is fabulous, and the prices are superb for what you get. Not to mention the local live music (available 5 days a week, Wed-Saturday nights, as well as over Sunday brunch), creating that comfy-cool atmosphere. It's casual, but yet, you'd be right at home for a special occasion like a birthday dinner or anniversary, and definitely suitable for a business lunch or dinner. They also have a beautiful events gallery upstairs for functions of any kind (complete with multimedia equipment for presentations). Their patio is a summer highlight and the building itself has such an interesting history and feel to it (as one of Collingwood's beautiful heritage buildings). Overall, a wonderful place to go for any occasion, big or small.
