A quiet Monday night and a delightful meal. Welcomed promptly and the specials explained. Food and drink orders taken and drinks arrived quickly. We had the fried chick pea starter and then my wife had the chicken supreme and I had the blackened trout, both...More

I have enjoyed many good caesar salads in my day, but this was spectacular. The twice smoked bacon, a bit thicker than most and a house made dressing seemed to be the keys. Butter croutons and white anchovies might have had something to do with...More

Great welcome, had a small room at the back for our own use, party of 6. Food was amazing, quite large portions and very high standard. One small point, the waitress albeit a huge asset, took the order by memory (which I hate) and ultimately...More

Last minute decision while in the area just prior dinner rush. Still lots of seats available but took advantage of the nice weather and sat out on the patio. My wife had the Primavera, my adult son the fish & chips. I had the spaghetti...More

We were driving from Toronto and decided to stop at Collingwood. This place rated highly on TripAdvisor so we gave it a go. There is plenty of parking (to be paid for) across the street and on the street (not sure if they also have...More

We stumbled upon the Huron Club as we were driving around in unseasonably inclement weather in Collingwood on what was hoped to be a golf weekend. We were offered a table by the fireplace which we readily accepted. Appetizers included warmed, spiced olives, edamame with...More

We had dinner here Saturday night. Servers were friendly and attentive. It's not cheap but the food is prepared with attention to detail. The fries were THE BEST and the homemade coleslaw was tasty and unique. Steak cooked as requested. Only complaint - we didn't...More

The Huron Club embodies what Collingwood is all about. It's a family business that has that family touch. Every diner's experience is personal. The staff are engaging and friendly, the food is fabulous, and the prices are superb for what you get. Not to mention the local live music (available 4 days a week, Thu-Saturday nights, as well as over Sunday brunch), creating that comfy-cool atmosphere. It's casual, but yet, you'd be right at home for a special occasion like a birthday dinner or anniversary, and definitely suitable for a business lunch or dinner. They also have a beautiful events gallery upstairs for functions of any kind (complete with multimedia equipment for presentations). Their patio is a summer highlight and the building itself has such an interesting history and feel to it (as one of Collingwood's beautiful heritage buildings). Overall, a wonderful place to go for any occasion, big or small.
