Never disappointed with the quality of the food at The Brasserie. Chef Griff uses only the finest of local ingredients in some very creative ways. The view of Lake Huron sunsets from the covered patio are stellar and the staff are always helpful and friendly.

The Brasserie and server Jessie more than met our expectations. Food was really quite good (see below) and Jessie kept things moving well without hovering. The setting is lovely with a nice view of Lake Huron from the patio. We had mussels and potstickers first and whitefish, lamb, and pasta for entrees. All, including dessert later were good. We loved... More

I am a longtime fan of The Brass - it has been my favourite restaurant either here at the cottage or back at home in Waterloo. However it seems like after Derrick gave up the head chef duties the quality of the food has slipped.....a lot. The last two dinners there were quite disappointing. A few weeks ago I had... More

Watching the sun set over Lake Huron while enjoying a well-prepared and well-served meal was the perfect end to a day in Kincardine.

We celebrated my father's birthday there. The food was amazing... the view of huron Lake was absolutely stunning... the service was a bit slow because of the rush but our server was really nice. We had the birthday cake which she served with very nice decoration. She even noticed that my father knows french so they wrote tell happy birthday... More

For our annual summer trip to the cottage this was suppose to be one of our special dinners out. We always try to support local businesses and decided to give them a try. At the on set of our evening we were pleased with the attentiveness of the staff. They were very pleasant throughout the meal. However the meal was... More

We were there with a family of four. Three of us had the special which was BC salmon on a "vegetable salad". We were disappointed that the fish was over cooked. We thought the salad would be a green salad not cold vegetables . The salad was peas, corn and fresh green beans. The other fish we had was risotto.... More

We visited The Brasserie for our anniversary dinner a couple of weeks ago and had a superb dinner. The food is always excellent and the surroundings -- a renovated space in an old house near the harbour -- are lovely. We thought we wanted to be outside on the covered patio to watch the sunset, but it was so hot... More

Visited the Brasserie on Saturday July 16, 2016. Fabulous outside dining area which was perfect for the family (myself, my brother and our spouses). Everything is as fresh as possible from local sources and you can tell from the taste of the vegetables in salads and entrees. There is just no other taste like that and it was wonderful in... More
