We visited The Brasserie for our anniversary dinner a couple of weeks ago and had a superb dinner. The food is always excellent and the surroundings -- a renovated space in an old house near the harbour -- are lovely. We thought we wanted to be outside on the covered patio to watch the sunset, but it was so hot... More

Visited the Brasserie on Saturday July 16, 2016. Fabulous outside dining area which was perfect for the family (myself, my brother and our spouses). Everything is as fresh as possible from local sources and you can tell from the taste of the vegetables in salads and entrees. There is just no other taste like that and it was wonderful in... More

We've eaten here several times and really love it. Good selection of beer and wine, tasty appetizers, everyone has loved their entree. Bonus is they have a vegetarian entree. Desserts are fabulous, as is the sunset. Service is great. It's not cheap but not overpriced either. Highly recommended.

The best meal we have had in quite some time! We had the Caesar mussels, duck and gnocchi , pork poutine and cauliflower appetizers. All were fresh and delicious! We enjoyed the pickerel and lamb entrees and capped off the night with dessert that looked like art! All of the food was equally delicious and beautiful! We would definitely recommend... More

I've been working out of town for awhile and my wife came to visit. As we were driving around we noticed this restaurant and decided to give it a try without any reference to it either by word of mouth or online. WOW were we pleasantly surprised by what we found. Its a smaller intimate setting and in the summer... More

Went to the Brasserie to enjoy a nice meal on the lake. The ambiance was relaxing and peaceful. To start our meal I had the Soup de Jour was Potato and Leek seeing that is one of my favourite soups that was what I ordered and my partner had the Ceasar Style Mussels. Both of our appetizers were absolutely fabulous.... More

I went there for my birthday and the food was tasty and local. It is expensive and only open four days a week in the spring summer months but worth the money.

This is a wonderful place to go for a first class meal. It is expensive, but worth it for a special meal. Service, presentation and quality of food are faultless.
