Just had a lovely dining experience at this restaurant. It has been a few years since I've had a meal here - many used to rave about the buffet but I think they were more impressed by quantity rather than quality - I always found it to be unidentifiable mush that had spent too long under a heat lamp and... Good place to go to eat or a place to stay overnight. They have a Sunday Brunch that is worth checking out.

The locals the are what make this a great small town. They remember your name and sometimes what the usual is.lol. the staff here is phenomenal and this is the most upper class Best Western I have stayed in. The breakfast was homemade.. The business computer severely needed upgrading but over all a 9 out of 10. Definite recommend.

The food is more home cooked style than anything but is decent. I've eaten here a few times, recently for a Christmas dinner. Food and deserts are good, better than I had expected. I wouldn't go out of the way to eat here, but I wouldn't hesitate to eat here either.

Disappointed, the service left a lot to be desired, the food was not safe to eat, having to be careful with cross contamination, would not recommend it.

We were staying at the Governor's Inn Best Western Plus for the night, and, because of the storm (the same one that hit Angus) the four of us decided to eat at the hotel restaurant, (which is usually against our better judgement.) Wow, were we wrong. We thoroughly enjoyed the cozy atmosphere, friendly service, unique menu and truly gourmet food.... More

I heard about this place through a friend, and decided to try it out, and I was not disappointed! Great lounge area and atmosphere and friendly, welcoming staff. The food is beautiful and delicious, right up there with top restaurants in the big cities. Definitely not to be overlooked!

I also went for Thanksgiving dinner last Sunday, and was very disappointed. The food was ok, but nothing fantastic. The soup was the best part. There was nothing for a child to eat and I wasn't going to pay $25 for a five year old that would eat very little of what was served. I thought this was a family... More
