I loved this place and went numerous times during my 3 week visit. Back home in BC ..I may miss it. No fine dining here...it's a drop in cafe where the good is fantastic, staff are very friendly and the prices are even better. It's...a bit like stepping into the past with booths and juke boxes...I strongly recommend the steak in a Kaiser.More

We love this old fashioned diner. The food is always hot and delicious with friendly service. This is a spot that many locals frequent due to the consistently great food and service. It's small so be prepared to wait during busy times but most people...are in and out pretty quickly. We will be continue to be regulars and highly recommend.More

I'll start off by saying I actually like this place! I gave it a 3/5 instead of 4/5 just because it's really grungy and run down looking, with a strange and mysterious looking prep room in the back that may or may not pass inspection......That being said, I like the huge portion you get for the cheap price. If you want to be fed all day long and full/stuffed/bloated for only $7 then this is your place. EXCELLENT value for money! The breakfast was also tasty! The decor is exactly what it was in 1950 or whenever they opened the place. I'm not sure if that was by coincidence or if this is some 4 dimensional chess level of future planning, bit in any case now that old decor is quite interesting, authentic and completely unique. I recommend going here for sure. Keep in mind it is not huge. It's small. There are tight booths to fit in to. Don't go there with 20 of your closest friends that are all 400 lbs and then complain that you can't find seating because that clown who wrote this review on the internet made you believe that this place is huge. It's not. It's small, tight, good food (if you're not fussy, picky, delicate or simply annoying), and great value for the buck!!More

Stopped here for breakfast. Loved the old sign out front and it looked like a place I had to see. I wasn't disappointed. It is a old diner, complete with old table side juke boxes. Love the atmosphere here. It was a very busy place,...with lots to chose from. Our food was very good but I have to admit I need to go back and try their waffles after seeing them on the next table. Highly recommend, will go back again.More

old style diner with excellent food, always hot, fresh, and served quickly. much better than a large corporate restaurant that mass produces its food.

Great breakfast! Yummy potatoes and my daughter really liked her French Toast. It was a very busy spot so be prepared to wait a few minutes for a table.

My son loves the pancakes here. The everyday standard eggs and sausage or bacon is also what you’d expect for not too pricy. Has an olde time feel with the vinyl seats and table jukeboxes :)

One of the best hole-in-the-wall greasy spoon in the GTA! This historical and iconic all day breakfast joint in Richmond Hill offers some of the best all-day breakfast in the GTA with friendly and efficient service to match! The Elvis Posters and wall mounted Jude-Boxes...added a real nostalgic touch! Whilst I settled for my favorite ' Corn Beef Hash ' with 3 eggs and side of strip bacon, my daughter had an awesome open sandwich of ' Egg Benedict with bacon on grilled English muffin with house fries '. The corn-beef hash was oh-so good, I dug into it immediately without thinking of taking a photo first!. Those generous amount of nicely caramelized onions in the corn beef and potato mix really elevated the dish a few levels up! Hollandaise sauce topping for the Egg Benedict was gorgeous....silky smooth and flavorful. Totally unexpected from a hole-in-the-wall greasy spoon! The muffin was perfectly grilled to create a crispy crust exterior! All in all......Filling and Yummmm! A must go-to place for truly enjoyable traditional breakfast!More
