Strange layout . Musicians were right in front of your table . Awkward layout but food was good and price was very good . Service was spot on . Servers were attentive and social at the same time

Really nice pub with many different cultures using the pub. Staff are very nice and helpful . Good selection of beers from Europe and Canada.

After the last guys wing night at the huether (good food, no atmosphere and too pricey)...we tried the duke for their wing night. We were seated in the governors room which was perfect as it allowed easy conversation. The specials were awesome. $4.50 for an order of 6 wings and $5 pints of English beers (smithwicks, Guinness, harp etc). Server... More

The entertainment is always great, especially on Sunday's when Romeo Sex Fighter plays (which is always the best night there) The service is usual good with the occasional inexperienced server but overall great place and atmosphere. It is usually an older crowd but always a lot of fun. GREAT WAFFLE FRIES!

This pub recommended for the band that only plays there Sunday nights, and since it was family day on Sunday we decided to give it a try. On the website recommendations on food seemed to lean towards British pub food, so three of us has the fish and chips, generous portions, however the fish was crispy on the outside but mushy... More

I really enjoy going to the Duke. They have a great live bands and its a great location to go for a night out with friends. (If you are looking for a chill pub scene). I don't normally eat the food as I have alot of allergies but the beer is good and always cold. They can accommodate large groups... More

I had drinks with friends here, and we had a great time. It's busy, and has a perfect pub atmosphere on weekends. They have a couple of cider options, which I was grateful for. I can't comment on the food, as we didn't order any. I'd definitely return for drinks though.

Went here for lunch with some co-workers. I had the roast beef open faced sandwich and fries. Honestly the food was just so-so. Its pretty basic pub food. I did enjoy the styling and setup. Seems like it would be a great place to meet friends and watch a game.

I've been here quite a few times over more than 20 years, and usually have been reasonably pleased. However my latest visit was pretty disappointing in both beer and food. No more Inniss & Gunn tap. Guinness was a good second choice. I had the liver and onions. Liver overdone, thick, tough. Gravy glutinous. Carrots near raw, broccoli overdone. I'd... More

Well there's not too much to say here. It's the best pub around Kitchener/Waterloo. That said, always a great food and actually a more than fair price. And most importantly a great pint every time ! Atmosphere always good. I guess you can see how I feel about it but I'm being honest. Go there. You're sure to enjoy.
