I went to the Duke of Wellington for breakfast on Sunday morning and ordered bacon and eggs. The eggs were to be over easy, they were over cooked, hard, dried out. the toast was very dry, the coffee creamers were bad. Our waitress was friendly and good, but the food not so good.

We came out to celebrate Thanksgiving/Octoberfest. Ordered drinks and dinner. Dinner was glue. Basically unedible but the overall atmosphere was fun. People talking with each other. Live music was the bonus. Would come back for the pub but not the food. Service was friendly and efficient.

However the food sucks, ordered the chip poutine & it was only average. I was drunk & starving so an ole shoe would have tasted good if it was offered ( or I wouldnt know the difference) :)

The night we ate at the Duke there was a trivia contest going on. What a great idea: we might join them one day. We have eaten here several times and always enjoyed our meals. This time I had the fish and chips. The portion was excellent. The Duke has a patio which we took advantage of.

Strange layout . Musicians were right in front of your table . Awkward layout but food was good and price was very good . Service was spot on . Servers were attentive and social at the same time

Really nice pub with many different cultures using the pub. Staff are very nice and helpful . Good selection of beers from Europe and Canada.

After the last guys wing night at the huether (good food, no atmosphere and too pricey)...we tried the duke for their wing night. We were seated in the governors room which was perfect as it allowed easy conversation. The specials were awesome. $4.50 for an order of 6 wings and $5 pints of English beers (smithwicks, Guinness, harp etc). Server... More

The entertainment is always great, especially on Sunday's when Romeo Sex Fighter plays (which is always the best night there) The service is usual good with the occasional inexperienced server but overall great place and atmosphere. It is usually an older crowd but always a lot of fun. GREAT WAFFLE FRIES!

This pub recommended for the band that only plays there Sunday nights, and since it was family day on Sunday we decided to give it a try. On the website recommendations on food seemed to lean towards British pub food, so three of us has the fish and chips, generous portions, however the fish was crispy on the outside but mushy... More
