I have passed King Street Trio countless times, but it wasn't until recently that I had a dinner there. I was pleasantly surprised by the decor and ambiance. To start, I had the watermelon salad. It was good, but I think it missed a punch of something (not sure what). I had paella for the main and it was delicious.... More

Came here with a Groupon deal. I really like the decoration here. The lamb rack was cooked perfectly. Also, like the cheesecake which is made in a different way than usual. Food is pricy here. But I would come back in the future for sure.

Had a very enjoyable dinner @ King Street Trio. The daily feature soup was out of this world delicious. Coconut shrimp, calamari and risotto were all very good as well. The main - King Crab on gnocchi was just ok, good flavour, but the crab was over done and left something to be desired. I would return and recommend as... More

We visited for the first time this evening. We showed up at 5 pm without reservations and the manager squeezed us in even though they had a big group and lots of reservations. We were seated near the open kitchen and had an enjoyable time watching the chef and crew working. Our server was friendly and attentive. We started off... More

I have been there 3 times since the fall. Each time trying a new item on the menu. Each time totally impressed with the preparation /taste and serving of the food. Brian is an excellent host and the servers are very good at assisting with information / choosing options and recommending accompanying beverages.

Overall it was a good meal. This was our first time since it's moved to King Street, the last time we went it was on University. We commented that we liked the old location much better. Aside from the construction on King, the restaurant was just so-so it was long and narrow, the tables seemed sort of close together. No... More

The Oysters Rockefeller were a total rip off. The oysters were so tiny we could not find them! The Moroccan Lamb was just okay. It was tough and chewy and the flavour was only "ok". The stuffed port tenderloin was disappointing as well. Just barely ok. Had it not been for the 30% off tonight this meal would have really... More

We tried King Street Trio for the first time last evening, we experienced great food and excellent service. Menu selections included grilled watermelon, coconut shrimp, stuffed pork tenderloin and a variety of steaks. My fillet mignon was grilled perfectly. Interesting decor with a nod to the past - original tin tiles on the walls. The owner Brian was very welcoming.

The food and service were excellent. We were seated in the back near the kitchen. Unfortunately, we had a loud talker a few tables away and that detracted from the meal.

Restaurant will captivate your eyes once you enter. Friendly and timely service. Food is little pricy but the portion is huge. We asked the waiter to split our main entree and waiter readily accepted and brought equal portion to me and wife. If we ordered a full portion, we would not be able to complete it. Will go again.
