Saturday night out with friends

What a wonderful experience we had. The service and the food were equally awesome! I had the Cajun chicken pizza, it was delicious! First time at this restaurant and certainly not our last. Bravo chefs and pizza cook!

Six of us dined here on a Friday night. This is not a diner but a very good restaurant . First time for the four of us on recommendation of our accompanying friends. There is a wood burning oven which turns out thin crust pizzas which were on most tables. Salads : spinach & arugula, macedonian, garden were fresh and... More

hands down Hot Rocks has the best pizza out there. The wood burning oven makes all the difference in flavour and crispiness. I love the renovations they did, it feels so much more homely yet rustic and upscale. I love the barn wood and lighting. Not into pizza, all their dishes have a creative flair. I'm currently addicted to the... More

My husband and I were out for dinner to celebrate our Anniversary and this place was recommended. The atmosphere was casual, the waitress was pleasant. My husband and I however were very disappointed in the quality of the steaks. When you go out for dinner, the food should be better than you can prepare at home, especially at the prices... More

I went on a busy Friday night with a girlfriend. The restaurant is small so the tables are very close together. It was good we had a reservation and we were seated immediately. As busy as it was we never felt rushed or ignored. The service was just right and the food was excellent. My friend had the PEI Mussels... More

If you are planning a night out with friends who might be a touch over medium on the fun meter don't worry it ok here. They like to have fun and they allow you to "rock". Good service good bar and a good kitchen all add up to a good night.

My family and fiancée dined here on a weeknight. The food was excellent, the service was great, the atmosphere was pleasant, but the space seemed small. There were six of us dining and four of us got pizza. They are known for their pizza so most of us wanted to try it on our first visit. The other two members... More

We visited Hot Rocks with another couple for the first time on Sat Nov 21 and had an 8pm reservation. I would definitely call in advance as this place gets busy if you want your preferred time. We were seated and acknowledged by our server right away which is always nice. There was nice lighting and good music. Good place... More

Myself along with my boyfriend, sister and her boyfriend and our parents went to dinner at Hot Rocks early November 2015. We made a reservation which was very smart because it was a busy Friday night. We were seated right away and greeted by our server shortly after. Service was good, friendly and prompt. We all started with some bruschetta,... More

My wife and I were visiting Whitby from Cornwall, Ontario… a family visit. We decided to have a casual dinner at Hot Rocks. We entered the long, dark bistro and were seated promptly in a corner table for four persons. Throughout our dinner our server was polite, very attentive and efficient; thanks Jen. My wife and her mother ordered the... More
