I always stop here when Im in Montreal. Everything - I mean everything is delicious, fresh and beautifully made. The authentic french pastries and their chocolate croissant are a dream. the cheese selection is wonderful as well with many Quebec cheeses that you won't find outside of the Province.

Love their breads and their quiches are delicious as well. They often have excellent sandwiches and salads. Desserts are beautiful. The "millefeuille fondant" is my favorite.

Everything that I have tasted from here I have loved from pastries to mini sausage rolls etc... When my cousin comes in from California she always makes a bee line for this Patisserie!

I know a lot of work goes into baking, but $30 + for a small fruit tart or cake which if you are lucky will feed 4 people is a little ridiculous!!

Our tour guide took us here for a quick snack. The almond croissant was one of the best things we ate in Montreal. Great cafe au last, too.

When I go to Montreal I never miss going to DeGascogne. They have tables where you can sit and enjoy pastries, cakes, bread, sandwiches and drinks. I tried everything and I am not disappointed by service and quality They have several locations and a big one on Marcel Laurin.

We wanted to find a French style patisserie and someone recommended this place. We loved it! Beautiful and delicious pastries and desserts, good selection of food, and good coffee. The staff was very nice, as well. I wish they would ship their pastries and breads!

The Patisserie De Gascogne is an absolute delightful shop. The bakery items there are creative, delicious, and presented beautifully. It is such a treat to go and discover a new found favourite. Yes, it is pricey, this is not your grocery store bakery. The service is impeccable. I applaude the sophistication and dedication to those who create such decadent pieces... More

I am really happy for those who like this "Patisserie". It might be good, not great, but definitely too expensive. I had a couple of disappointing experiences. The cakes, the Faisière for example, are way too expensive for the value. We got a chocolate box with 8 varieties. Unfortunately tasteless. The Cointreau is still acceptable. It was good a long... Went there after reading several positive reviews, we had a big fruit tart, it was tasty, creamy, with good consistence and texture. This is probably one of the best patisserie I have been to in quebec. There are lots of different cakes but given the size and popularity of the shop, I was expecting more variety. But that shouldn't matter,... More
