We had the tapas upstairs and it was very nice indeed. Good service but generally we found it a little overpriced, esp the wine menu. Notwithstanding, it was a very nice place and we'd go back. Four tapas meals and bread was are than enough and most enjoyable food.

We made a reservation for the dining room for 8 pm on a Saturday night to celebrate our third anniversary. Our three servers (why is that necessary?) were moderately friendly but this was overpowered by their disorganization and lack of training. We ordered arrancini to start which was decent but overly sauced. Soggy would be an accurate description. A part... More

We were made to feel so welcome in Sage Bistro. Food was well served and beautifully presented. Some of the vegetables could have been cooked for slightly longer as the broccoli was slightly chewy, but still very tasty. The staff had no problem with my husband and I sharing a meal. The desserts were well presented and quite delicious. If... More

After a week travelling around Canada we've really struggled to eat healthyish and find restaurants that do healthy foods. We had the special prawn starter made with cucumber noodles and capres salad both really tasty, plates are balanced in size and leave you feeling comfortable not over stuffed. Mains we both had steak frites with different sauces both really good.... More

Very welcoming atmosphere with two different dining options: restaurant downstairs or tapas and wine upstairs. Both have a good wine assortment. Dinner was higher end meals like trout or pulled lamb. The food was excellent, but the portions were on the smaller side (but maybe it just felt that way with all the hiking we had done). The lunch menu... More

We went with a group of family. The food is excellent and love the atmosphere. Everyones food was good when asked about the meals. The desserts did take awhile to come and coffee or tea wasn't offered after the meal. Would recommend.

I had some family visiting from overseas, and on the spur of the moment, we decided that we wanted to go out for a bite and a nice glass of wine. I suggested Sage Bistro, and off we went.It was very close to closing time, but they still welcomed us, and made us feel like it was actually a pleasure... More

The chef at Sage Bistro & Wine Lounge is a genius. We spent over two hours in the wine lounge sampling items from the tapas-style menu including charcuterie, cheese, crab cakes (my fiancé's favourite), Thai-inspired braised short rib (my favourite), and S'mores Cake. The food was incredible. Hands down the best I've had in years (and we go out for... More
