My companion and I at there just a couple of days ago and I feel that the right thing to do is save you from the disaster that is their service. I have over 20 years experience in Food and Beverage and I am the most forgiving individual in the world if the kitchen is busy the staff are swamped... More

Dinner. My wife is Japanese. Over the years my wife and I have dropped into this restaurant, and it's either great or really crappy. Yesterday: agedsahi tofu - sauce with no flavour, sticky coating; tempura - poor quality of batter - more like a fritter - yam undercooked/cold; teriyaki salmon quite disgusting/overly oily with a strange coating similar to the... My favourite place for fresh sushi in Canmore, and the people there are super friendly. Great food for a great price. Will not be disappointed!

We had 2 rolls; the spicy red tuna and their Green Planet roll (avocado, onion and mint leaf wrapped in a cabbage leaf. Both were quite good and the Green Planet roll wrapped in a cabbage leaf was quite different. Open 4pm to 10pm, closed Wednesdays

I love sushi as a random treat. Unfortunately the hours of operation are limited here as I've only eaten here twice in the past 4 years. Every other time I have gone it is closed. Otherwise the staff are great and the food is good!!

I have eaten here several times and I am never disappointed. The sushi is always fresh and tasty. Traditional. The service is good and everyone is always very friendly. A few people in our party did not want raw fish sushi but there were other items for them to eat such as the stir fry dishes that were also very... More

We had several rolls and various pieces of sushi for dinner. Most of the rolls were the consistency of mashed potatoes - you could barely distinguish individual rice grains - but we ate them anyway. The salmon we ordered was pale orange and very oily, not bright orange and meaty like what I am used to having. . For the... More

Chef's Studio is great restaurant for couples, families and anyone really. On this occasion we had 6 of us which included 2 young children which was not a problem. We ordered 4 sushi dishes and 2 sizzling plate dishes which was ample for us to share and absolutely delicious! If you're craving Japanese be sure to come here!

Thank Terry B
