We went as a family for breakfast and at first it seemed like it wasn't going to be that great. But as we settled in the waiter made us feel comfortable, accommodated all of our requests and substitutions and even had a conversation with us. It's an old style atmosphere with a lot of artifacts from the early 1900's. Personally... More

Waiter was great. Appetizer was okay, main course definitely not. Everything tasted like Monday night leftovers. All in all it definitely wasn't what we expected. Stuffed Yorkshire was paired with a wine. If I knew that a 4 oz glass of locally grown wine was going to cost 12.95 I would have never ordered it. My mistake for not asking.... More

This is a cozy, casual traditional pub. The food was a bit hit and miss in our experience, but there are some solid options. Service was always good. Would like to see more regional and/or craft beers on tap. Beer selection was a bit limited to larger national brands and imports, but poured well. Roast beef based menu items seemed... More

large menu not restricted to english fare but was all there if you wanted it, had 2 piece halibut and fries, fish was a little overdone but the chips were good. a bit pricey. staff was quiet but efficient. great for a small group better if it's nice outside.

While staying upstairs at the Georgetown Inn, we ate at this pub twice for breakfast, once for lunch and twice for dinner. Everything I had was really good and my husband felt the same about his meals. Great burger and Shepherd's Pie. The service was good, It was too chilly to eat outside but they have a really nice patio.... More

Called in for dinner. Didn't have to wait for a table, quite spacious inside. Some fab old photos etc on the walls. Had the stuffed Yorkshire pudding, very tasty. Good choice on menu. Friendly staff.

We went for the fence toast. Surprisingly they had run out. We should have left at that point. Our waiter was great and did the best he could with what he had. The omelettes and breakfast scrambles were terrible. Won't be going back.

Went here for dinner. We orderd the chicken wings and the farmer salad. The salad was qaint (never seen the combo), it had: romain slaw, choices of 4 dressings, lean beef, egg, seasoned chicken and black forest smoked ham as topping. In the middle there was a large portion of huttenkase. All in all a very good combination. Salad was... More
