I read a lot of reviews about this place..they all have a theme. Slow service. Listen people...go to any pub in the UK you are not rushed, no time constraints this is old school. it's busy, the staff is busy. You want fast food, go to a fast food restaurant. The half order of nachos is massive and the sides... More

I didn't love my dinner but my husband did. He had the Scottish egg and fish and chips. I had chicken marsala. We also had breakfast. French toast was great!! Great location with a nice patio. Service was excellent.

With the time zone difference, we were eating supper really late but managed to make it to the Georgetown Pub before they stopped serving supper. The veggie burger was juicy and very flavorful and the fries were fresh and hot! The atmosphere was great and we had a really nice quiet dinner. It was literally a 2 minute walk from... More

Because we were staying at the Georgetown Inn we tried the Pub downstairs. It reminded us of several Pubs we visited during past trips to the UK. We had the fish and chips and shepherd's pie; both we enjoyed along with the Pub décor and patrons.

We usually stay at the Georgetown Inn. With just a one day visit in Canmore we stopped in for breakfast. As always it was good with lots of coffee. A nice variety of options on the menu at a decent price

Food was pretty good but waited at least an hour for our food. Servers were very apologetic but still, it seemed like a long time, and I would not go back there.

During our visit to Canmore we tried several places that claim, or aim to be a British pub. The Georgetown has simply nailed it ! far beyond expectations in every department and head and shoulders above the rest. We seriously thought we could easily be sitting in an English country pub. The Staff were friendly but also very efficient and... More

Adorable little British style pub. The food is absolutely exquisite and very decently priced. The staff is beyond friendly, and the atmosphere is quaint and cozy. Seriously the food though. Wow. Absolutely delicious. Went in for a traditional English breakfast one morning, and it was melt in your mouth amazing. Had Fish and chips another night, english toffee pudding for... More

Within walking distance of several hotels this quaint gem is worth the stop. Hubby had the stuffed Yorks hire pudding (and it is huge...stuffed full of delicious beef) while I had the fish and chips. Both were delicious and the wait staff were terrific! Would go again in a heartbeat.

Our server took our drink order in good order, after the main meal order was taken, we waited over a hour for the meal after reminding our server about our order, three of the meals came out hot, the fourth meal again being reminded came out , but was cold after getting out waiter's attention again they took it back...
