I visit during quiet times and it's always a great experience. I go to get my work done (on computer with wifi) and for a change of scenery.

I asked about Gluten free choices just in case there was something I could eat, there wasnt which is not unusual for places but the way they were was unacceptable. This was not my first visit, have been for tea before, and same thing, it was like I was bothering them by being a guest in ther shop. Won't be... More

Met for a working lunch today. The coffee was excellent as was the panini and soup. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is eclectic and quite enjoyable. The only down side are the numerous steps. Steps to get into the building, steps to get the the serving counter. Further steps to two different levels for tables. For... More

looking for a homegrown cafe as opposed to the mass drive thru coffee stores... this place is ideal. Coffee made to order along with expressos, lattes, etc etc etc. Great place for lunch. Had a soup, sandwich, coffee combo for $9. great quality. highly recommended

Had lunch at The Grind, the special included ham which I don't eat so asked Kayla to make me a special without and what I received was deliciousness. Her soup is always a deeply flavourfull experience, she puts all of her expertise into each creation. It was curried vegetable. My stomach wants it again. The sandwich was stuffed with vegetables,... Recently moved to Cornwall and had wanted to try this cafe out but just never seemed to make time. Finally I made the effort and boy and I ever grateful I did... I now spend 3-4 days a week there studying, listening to the calming music and drinking their coffee. Would recommend the shot in the dark drink if you... More

Perfect little place for a nice light lunch whether on the go or time to relax. The atmosphere is modern decorated with local art. Very clean. The owner and staff make you feel welcome and important! Had the daily special. Grilled panini with prosciutto and egg, delicious, with a spinach salad with balsamic dressing and a Chai Latte, my favourite.... More

I have visited this cafe a few times in the past month and I've decided that I will not be going back. The food is average and the value is OK, but I can't deal with the young woman working the register. I know it sounds dramatic, but I think she might hate me. I always try to smile and... More
