Whenever we are in Dryden, we go for breakfast at the Central. It is a traditional diner with traditional food. Lots of food, friendly service, attracts the coffee row guys. It has been there forever with very few changes. Good value for the money. Feel comfortable when sitting there eating.

The outside looks dumpy, but pretty nice on the inside. It is a family restaurant up front and a bar in the back. The food was good and the portions were big. Our server was awesome, but we`ve heard that they are sometimes not treated well. The prices were very reasonable.

Dropped in last week for a quick bite. Old diner style, with hearty servings at a great value. Will have to drop in again next time we are passing through

Wonderful place to have a hearty breakfast or a greasy spoon lunch. True the decor is dated and washrooms are not modern (but are very clean) but the quality food, great service and retro atmosphere more than make up for it!

Love The Central and have for many, many years. Has good hometown food, lots of choices on the menu and very fair priced.

great big servings, great prices, great service, dated decor (but it didn't distract from the experience).

Pros: People were nice. Meals were inexpensive. Cons: Really dated decor, dirty, the mens washroom looked like they ran out of money and just painted it anyway, it was also very dirty. Food was almost all processed, the little that was fresh was horrible.

We asked a local where to eat in Dryden and this was his number 3 choice. It looks a bit grim from the outside but that is not always a good indicator of the restaurant. Inside was grubby with sticky carpets. We all had a different choice from the menu. The food was below average, my wife's fish was overlooked... More

This place is cheap, has 70s diner decor, but the diner food is plentiful and good for a twice a year treat! The poutine is delicious and you can eat until you burst for under 10 bucks at this place! But if you are looking for the uber clean place, this is not it. Service is great, price is cheap,... More
