I walked by it for years and never went in. Don't know why I waited so long to try it out. It was a great experience from the moment we entered until we left. Our host Adam was so gracious and helpful. We opted for the Afternoon Tea and it did not disappoint as did the tea that we choose... More

It is a delightful quaint tea shop in Markham. The shop is adorned with teapots of different shapes and sizes. Choices of teas, dainty sandwiches and dessert, very nicely presented in lovely china. The owner Adam is pleasant and helpful and offers suggestions for the various teas they serve. Bonus is....you have the pleasure of spending as much time as... More

Two of us visited this tea room, based largely on the positive reviews. We must have gone on a bad day! We were ten minutes late for our reservation, English Afternoon Tea. Our table wasn't ready. The service was incredibly slow, but the man who served everyone, including us, was nice. We think he was the only one waiting on... More

A nice atmosphere. Restaurant tastefully decorated in old English style. We tried the Victorian tea service. It was very nice. The sandwiches were okay and the desserts were average. We spent a pleasant afternoon at the restaurant.. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and they did not rush you through your meal, which was very nice. However, I found... More

I have visited several times in the last few months and I am always very impressed. The level of service, attention to detail and outstanding quality you receive, is second to none. I have tried many tea shops over the years but they are always measured against this one, because I have never found anything better. Adam makes every guest... More

So the boyfriend and I wanted to take our Moms out for Mother's Day High Tea (totally his idea) and so I did a bunch of research. Now let me point out that I'm by no means new to the High Tea Rodeo. I've been to the Four Seasons a few times, Windsor Arms, The Old Mill and a few... More

No scones, no clotted cream, a total of one skimpy sandwich each. We had to go to Swiss Chalet a couple hours later to have a proper lunch. Cookies and tiny easter eggs, decorated nicely but, really? We could have prepared these at home and saved our money for a proper meal. Well we have had "Afternoon tea" in Betty's... More

Fabulous Place !! What a decor...you feel like you are stepping back in time. This quaint English-Style tea shop is wonderful. Delicious food...I had the Welsh Rarebit which came with salad and I asked to add the English baked beans. Absolutely just like my mom use to make...delicious !
