We stopped here with our kids after exploring the market. We had the special of the day which was chicken pot pie. They were really good. Our son had the cod burger and he said it was the best food he's ever had in his life. Nice views as well and excellent service.

My 13 yr old daughter has a small appetite. We have been in Canada for 2 weeks and this was there first time we were refused the child's menu as this could only be granted for under 8's so had to pay for full adult meal. This is so typical of the British pub hospitality Chips were dry and had... More

This restaurant has been at Lonsdale Quay for years, since the pier was constructed I believe. With the open deck and ocean view, it's a pleasant spot. In our experience though, the food never rose above mediocre. That may be typical of English pub food but it doesn't have to be. It's been a long time so we made another... More

I appreciate your comments. You are obviously one of our "regulars' , so we are extra disappointed to hear that your last visit was not satisfactory. You are quite correct that we have been in business since the Quay was built in 1986. Our menu has changed dramatically since we opened, with the "pub food", as you call it, now... More

A popular spot "on the water" offering a wide selection of meals. The service was friendly, helpful, and efficient. The meals were good but not "very good" Definitely a spot we go to for the view and not the food

Thank you for your comments. At least we got the service and the view spot on. Now, we must and will try harder with the food. More

We sat outside in the shade and enjoyed a great view of the harbor. The beer and fish were excellent; the staff was very friendly and helpful. We would always go back here when we are in Vancouver.

Been eating here for many years but the service and the food didn't live up to expectation. The food was very dry and the steak n kidney pie was much more kidney than steak

This restaurant serves homestyle sandwiches for a reasonable price. A friend and I both had the shrimp and avocado sandwich with a salad. The shrimp was very fresh and the avocado was a trifle under ripe to my taste but my friend thought hers was just perfect. Both of our salads were crisp and tasty with the dill dressing served... Terrific service, terrific choice, especially for lunch - if you have their French onion soup with baguette, thinking it'll be a light bite, you won't be hungry again for many, many hours... It's fine for evenings too, good halibut, but for lunch it is unparalleled - and of course has great views of the North Vancouver waterfront.

it was lunch time and I had an hour to kill until my business appointment so I decided upon the steak and chips for $21.00. Not a bad buy especially when the steak arrived as I ordered (medium rare). Of course I'll return again the next time I'm at the Quay.
