This restaurant serves homestyle sandwiches for a reasonable price. A friend and I both had the shrimp and avocado sandwich with a salad. The shrimp was very fresh and the avocado was a trifle under ripe to my taste but my friend thought hers was just perfect. Both of our salads were crisp and tasty with the dill dressing served... Terrific service, terrific choice, especially for lunch - if you have their French onion soup with baguette, thinking it'll be a light bite, you won't be hungry again for many, many hours... It's fine for evenings too, good halibut, but for lunch it is unparalleled - and of course has great views of the North Vancouver waterfront.

it was lunch time and I had an hour to kill until my business appointment so I decided upon the steak and chips for $21.00. Not a bad buy especially when the steak arrived as I ordered (medium rare). Of course I'll return again the next time I'm at the Quay.

Walked all over the Market. . . Everybody said there is a Pub. . . Nobody said it is on the Second Floor! Very nice, Classy place. . . Servers are very well presented. . . Some menu items seem a bit over-priced, BUT, the quality is GREAT! Drink prices are about average . . . I'll visit again!

My companion and I were staying at the hotel upstairs and stopped in at the Cheshire for an appetizer. We liked the herbed fries and aioli, but the "truffle" meatballs were so overcooked that any truffle flavor was undetectable; the texture was similar to a presto log and the sauce tasted as though it came from a jar. The restaurant... More

British cuisine excellence! Sheppards pie was delicious! Their seafood dish with mashed potatoes was the best meal in town so far, tremendous flavors.

Returned to this restaurant upstairs in Lonsdale Quay Market because we had enjoyed their fish and chips before. But this time, although the restaurant had only three other couples, the fish was still fresh but the chips were pale and chewy, possibly old or undercooked. However the beer was good. They charge an extra dollar for a dollop of coleslaw... More

Service was great and we had 11 people! Everyone's food at the table looked amazing and they all raved about it. My vote is for the beef dip with salad.

Visiting and staying at Nort Vancouver. Went to this restaurant for dinner. Had the beat experience of the entire visit. Definitely will be returning to this restaurant! Greeting to wait staff, to food and desserts were awesome. So nice to visit a restaurant where the staff makes you feel like they value you.

Huge portions when you order for dinner. They feature one special meal each night. i.e. roast beef and yorkshire pudding or a roast turkey dinner. Staff are pleasant and the food is tasty. The room has good tables to sit at and some? Not so great for conversation if there is a large group beside you. Just ask to be... More
