We had the five course dinner with wine pairings. Food was very good and the wine pairings were excellent. Very out of the way and took us about hour and half to get back to our hotel via bus and the sea bus. Gondola ride was nice and view great but really not worth the effort to get out there.

This is one of the best views in all of Vancouver, if the weather is clear (otherwise don't bother). Food and wine list is decent. But on a clear night or watching the sunset, you cannot beat it.

We celebrated our anniversary in this top notch restaurant with a sunset view of our city, and are glad we did. I really can't say enough good things about our experience. While disappointed at first that we could not get a window seat, we could still see an amazing view of Vancouver from our table. Both the food and the... More

This restaurant serves really good food and the views are stunning. What we did not realise when we made the booking, is that there is so much more to see and do at the top of this mountain, so best to go up an hour or two before your reservation.

Wanted toilets, drink and a snack on the way down. Food and drink expensive as we are a captive audience. Food average in terms of quality. Lovely terrace views. But, the sweaty runners washing themselves off in the toilets and outside at the water fountain were disgusting! Great, you ran the grind. Don't show off. Doing your stretches after your... More

The view to this place was spectacular however the service was slow. Slow to get a drink, slow to take our order. The food took a long time and was mediocre at best. The waiter never came back and we had to find someone to get our bill. Good thing the view was spectacular

Chantal, we wanted to clarify, was your review for Altitudes Bistro (more casual dining) or the fine dining Observatory Restaurant (small, intimate dining room, dinner only, linen table cloths, etc.) ? We think it may have been for Altitudes based upon your description. Either way, it sounds like there was an issue with the speed of service, and attentiveness of... More

We were a party of 4 last night and had made a booking for 8.30. We had specifically asked for a window when we booked. We got there at 7,50 and checked to see if maybe a table was available. The Young girl was rather abrupt and said no there's nothing available right now. So we said we would go... More

About once a year my husband and I splurge on the pairings menu at the Observatory. It is actually a really great price for such upscale food and wine. It changes with the seasons, but is usually about five courses paired with wines. It is always amazing! The food is incredible and you will be stuffed after...in a good way!... More
