The second and last time I order the flank steak and it was half fat, quarter grisel and the rest tough meat. The spaghetti was not bad but the value was not great.

We come here often for lunch and we're quite disappointed with a number of the dishes our family of six ordered. The arugula salad was oily and completely unseasoned, the carbonara tasted only of raw garlic - not something my young son could eat and the truffle ravioli was bland and heavy. We have always lived this little local icon,... More

Well, we had decided to take our friend who had flown in from Bali , for a nice meal, and was very impressed with the food as well as the service . What had particularly impressed our guest was the fact that, on looking at my cell phone and then realizing that the phone was in need of charging, the... More

Had dinner here last night with four friends; a Christmas tradition we have at a different restaurant each year. This is not a big place; I'm guessing it would seat fifty but I heard a rumor there is a private dinning room at the back. It is a long narrow room with rich wood paneling and white table cloths and... More

I've been to this restaurant at least a couple dozen times over the years and, until the last couple of years, it's been fantastic. However, the last 3 times there, i've had terrible meals. Not only were they almost airplane quality, the service was equal. The last time was the last straw. I ordered the "pasta for Italians only" which... More

We're regulars and stopped for lunch today as we were doing other things on the North Shore. We shared a bottle of red but each had our own order of the Spaghetti for Italians Only. Perfect! Attentive, friendly service. The best fresh focaccia in our experience. Our rating would improve to a 5 if they put some effort into cleaning... More

Just a quick Seabus Ride across the Burrard Inlet from downtown Vancouver, you will find a great community of fine eating, superb ocean views, with a nice sprinkling of art in the Lonsdale Quay. Our favourite eating spot on Tuesdays is Quattro Quattro right at the bottom of Lonsdale; Pasta specials are $10, rather than the usual $20+. I choose... More

I haven't been for a long time and the food was as good as I remember. The Corsi family has been serving their Italian specialities for a long time. We had a light lunch consisting of radicchio rolls stuffed with mozzarella topped with balsamic which were delicious. We all had spaghetti Quattro which was delicious. Everyone cleaned their plates with... More

Had dinner the other night with a friend and were not disappointed. Waiters and waitresses are "professional" - not teenagers chewing gum while saying "hi, my name is Bob and I'm your waiter tonight". I like professionals at adult restaurants. A very good menu selection of pastas and mains. A very good long wine list too. My secret is, they... More

My first visit to Vancouver to see family. Beautiful city! We had an assortment of dishes served family style, and our party was mostly vegetarian. We were accommodated happily and those of us who do eat meat also sampled some amazing offerings. I particularly enjoyed the radicchio bocconcini appetizer and the fetuccine con funghi as part of my main course.... More
