This is really a take away restaurant specialising in fish, prawns, and crab. We had the fish and calamari. The fish is really top grade and excellent. The calamari was mediocre and definitely missable. It's best to phone in your order and collect after a bit as the service for walk in orders is slow. Price is reasonable but not... More

Was in the area, and am a friend of anything crab. Place is small and take-out might well be the best option around the lunch hour, but the crab sandwich is worth not having a seat. The chowder was good, but the sandwich stole the show.

Crab is almost too expensive anywhere in BC , but they do make a very good crab meat sandwich. fish and chips, soup and crab cakes are good.. small place but has out door seating . not fast food, everything seems to be made to order.

By far the best fish market in the area. They also have a good menu.....great fish and chips! The place to get east coast lobster, fresh crab, spot prawns. I love this place!

Brought my little guy in for a snack and spent $25. Went up after to buy a drink and was informed (after spending $25) that I could not purchase my drink unless it was a $5 minimum - which is not posted anywhere. I also asked the lady where the sign was and was told 'oh. There is no sign.... More

I walked in and no one was there(other customers) and I said I needed a minute to look. Then two other people came in and I made full eye contact indicating I was ready and made a motion to show her then she proceeded to serve those two people ahead of me. She never came back to ask me what I... More

I am sorry to hear of you recent experience. We are proud of our 100% fresh Dungeness crabmeat that we use for our crab cakes, that you will not find elsewhere in the market including Costco. Given the cost of crab is currently $50/lb, our recipe has not changed nor has the price for several years making it reasonable for... More

When that craving for Fish and Chips happens, usually once a month or so, we go to The Crab Shop. Great Fish and Chips along with Fish Tacos and also the best place to buy Fresh Prawns, Live Crab and more. We generally bring home our dinner but you can eat it there too.

I have been on a multi-year voyage to discover the best fish and chips (that's fries), so I am pleased to say that this was the best I have had, yet - at least in North America. I usually start by tasting the fries and the fish naked - no condiments. This was one of the few times that I... More
