Best Singapore laksa in town ( better than banana leaf and tropika)...nice ambiance and great prices. A bit hard to find parking during key times... Best to go at night for dinner.

This was our first time at Tamarind Hill and we were pleasantly surprised. The Singapore laksa was amazing, chicken satays were delicious and they have some great drinks too. Free parking in the back. Great ambiance and decor and fantastic service. We will definitely be going back in the future

Walking in for lunch, the atmosphere is fine. The staff are cordial and friendly. It started to get busy during the lunch hour. The menu is full of Malaysian cuisine and that becomes the hard part...what to order. I have not had a lot of Malaysian cuisine and found that it is a blend of different cultures I have experienced.... More

Nice quiet spot, pleasant space and good service. Singapore Laksa is worth a visit! Closes quite early, the only down side .

For food and value I'd rate this place excellent. Unfortunately at 7pm on a Saturday they'd already sold out of a lot of what we ordered, and for some reason they never tried to take a drinks order from us. So our bill ended up at around $20 per person for a lot of really really tasty food. Maybe they... More

We went to this place on a rainy Sunday night and it was busy. We ordered the beef and asparagus and pineapple fried rice. Both dishes were full of flavour. The fried rice had a good assortment of seafood and the beef dish had just the right amount of spice. There was just the two of us which was the... More

The food was mostly very good, but we were half way through our entrees before the water & drinks arrived which we had ordered at very beginning. Also two of the drinks ingredients had run out, which suggests that drinks are a low priority here. Suggest you bring some bottled water with you. Anyway, still well worth visiting for the... More

Get there early as the tables fill up fast and the restaurant is small. One server takes care of the entire room so sometimes you'll have to wait. The food comes out quickly and is really delicious. The appetizer, roti canai, is a must try. Flaky, sweet dough that you dip in a curry sauce. Yum! The pineapple fried rice... More

This handsome little spot on Lonsdale has become a favourite. Its addictive roti canai is a sort of flaky pancake that you dip in a curry sauce. Its spicy laksa soups are also irresistible. Choose from an assortment of curried dishes, add coconut rice and maybe a meat or tofu sate, and you have a delicious meal for a group... More

Stopped in last night after watching a flick. Food was as expected, top quality, tasty and decent portions. Haven't been there in a while but still one of the best alternatives on the north shore. We always order extra for leftovers!!
