Because this place is on the water, you have to go down a steep decline to get to it ... maybe not best for elderly people. The food is scrumptious and the eating is outdoors. Umbrellas over the tables keep the worst of the sun off you. Eat the fish and chips! The whole neighborhood is interesting and worth exploring.

Crunchy crust covering mouthwatering flaky cod - lovely lunch on the water in Steveston. Cones of fries ( apparently bottomless) not overly salted with tasty fresh fish, lemon and tartar sauce- maybe a little greasy but what I expect. No coleslaw on the side. Would love to try the other fish choices- there is an option to have them all... More

We always love pajos. The view, the friendly staff and even the seagull and crows. On this visit we had the fish tacos. They were ok. It's just one big piece of fish in a tortilla. The sauce was good but hard to eat. We'll be back for our regular fish and chips soon ☺

We bring people to Pajo's at Garry Point or Steveston Wharf whenever they come to town. The ambience is fabulous and the food divine! Not too greasy, large portions, refillable pop and chips means you will leave well satisfied. Our family has nut allergies and their menu is safe for us. We just went last week and shared 3 fries... So my hubby and I were in an adventure yesterday. Wanting to visit steveston we got up early and got to see the town come to life with people seeking fresh seafood on the dock... tourists visiting the museum... scents if breakfast...ocean water and coffee filling the air... we checked out all of the menus posted in Windows...fences and gates...... Fish & Chips served in a newsprint cone with Herring Gulls squawking in the background, and a seabreeze, you don't get much more old school than that. I had halibut and chips, and my wife the seafood chowder. We enjoyed both, the batter on the fish was crisp but not a huge lump of dough around a sliver of fish... More

Right on the wharf with great fish and chips baskets. Halibut and Cob I think are the way to go. Best cold slaw we had on the entire trip. Sit out side and enjoy the boats coming and going.

Fish and chips made and served on a floating dock. Local fish, local company. Doesn't get any better than that. Quite busy on sunny summer weekends.
