Our work group had a wonderful lunch here last week! The pizzas were tasty, great wine selection, friendly and helpful staff who had everything ready for us and a nice outlook to the water. Thanks for the ideal lunch!

Outstanding service. The food was great, too. Unfortunately, it was not a warm night and heating would have been very welcome.

**Star Venue very tidy and trendy, greet n meet good, food very tasteful, seating very poor, No tables available..but still empty on our departure.

Very nice restaurants with decent food and pizza. Good cocktails and nice atmosphere. Not bad for a quick bite! The service was very quick and attentive

Great food and drinks! Atmosphere was really nice; sat on the veranda so there was a nice ocean breeze and out of the direct sun. Staff were pleasant and service was excellent. Price point was reasonable with our Canadian dollar to New Zealand dollar.

Great service from a very attentive crew, it was just the pizza, undercooked, stodgy and just tasted of BBQ sauce. A shame as everything else was good.

Very good service and the margarita pizza is huge and very good as well… enough for 3 persons so realy a good choice. The atmoshere is also very nice sitting at the harbour in the sun.

I am on holiday with my husband and two friends from the UK. We arranged to meet my friends Aunt at The Conservatory. We booked a table but arrived early and decided to wait for my friends Aunt, and sat buy the front overlooking the...water. When she joined us we decided to put two of the tables together and eat there rather than take the table in the restaurant. The food was nice and the waitresses were attentive, particularly when we had finished a drink! I was particularly iterated when the bar manager/owner asked if we were going to order anything else and when we said no he took one of the tables away so he could seat someone else at the table, making it clear he could make more money from them!! We spent over $600 on our meal and drinks which clearly didn’t afford us the courtesy of 10 minutes to finish our meal before leaving. Of all the places we visited over the last 3 weeks this has to be the rudest!!! NZ is a fantastic country and we have had a fantastic holiday such a shame to be leaving with this impression of Auckland!More

Came with the family. Mid-busy but looked like lots of staff operating. Had drinks & Pizza on a pleasant Saturday night. Without exception, everyone (family) said the pizza was soggy, light on the meat components, overly heavy on the cheese, and no-one finished the pizza's...they were just not nice. left and went elsewhere. The conservatory used to be reliable but seems to have gone downhill.More

Great food, great service, great location, highly recommended. Had the fish burger and it was excellent. Thanks Tricky!

This is my favourite Wynyard spot as the food and drinks on offer are top end. The most delicious burgers, great choice of beers and wines and most importantly attentive professional service. The owner trains his staff to ensure you’re never left waiting to order...or with empties on your table.More

We had a Great afternoon indulging in Delicious cocktails, great food and the service was really Top Notch considering how busy they were. It made up for a disappointing Elton John no show. Highly recommend and will return.

delicious food, pleasant staff, great location. exceptionally busy, but we didn't have to wait too long to be served

Stopped for lunch at this waterfront view restaurant. Versatile menu, and pizza pies are Huge! Can easily feed 4!l Local craft beer. Fresh fish. Comfortable seating areas including comfy couches. Plants surround for a pleasant setting. Staff is friendly and welcoming.

I give Conservatory a ton of props for the space and the green fitout. It’s nice to have a spacious restaurant that’s comfortable to be in and is perfect for drinks in the summer with friends. But if you are ordering food I would discourage...it, at least if you’re getting near the pizzas. We got a Margherita and a Vegan pizza, both of which were around the 40 dollar range. They were absolutely massive and maybe they think the size makes up for the lack of effort because these pizzas tasted weird as hell. The vegan cheese was very poor and slimy, and the Margherita was a cheese pizza with tiny dollops of mozzarella, a mix of cherry, regular and sundried tomatoes (???) and like a few leaves of chopped basil. Three different types of tomatoes was just a total crackup and the whole thing just tasted pretty oily... Maybe the regular mains are better but the pizzas are a nah. Nice spot for a wine though.More
