Under level 2 I find it difficult to comprehend that servers aren't aware they actually need to serve you. We were seated at a table outside but for 7 of us got 1 drinks menu. Finally our order was taken then waited 10 mins for...our drinks to arrive with one missing. Had to ask for more drinks. We were one table of a possible 3 tables occupied and at least 4 staff that we saw and yet the table beside us had to go in to get drinks and the service to our table was bad! Wouldn't be jumping to go back. Apparently the cocktails were weak and only 5 to choose from. Disappointing start to our evening.More

I was there prior to Tool's concert and the place was packed with thirsty fans. The ambiance was awesome, as they played all metal songs, and staff were legends working under a very fast pace. Excellent beers on draft.

We popped in here for lunch on spec. All the staff we interacted with were very friendly and helpful, and the Chicken Caesar Salad we shared of a very good size and excellent.

Walked in and went to the bar to order a drink where me and my two friends weren’t asked for id. I was a bit shocked as I look young for my age and have just turned 18, so I’m used to getting asked for...Id everywhere I go to drink. I had a red apple cider and although expensive was really good. We wanted to sit outside but all the tables were taken; it must be a very popular wee pub. Good service and they tried to help us get an outdoor table but no luck. Would go backMore

It was after work when my colleagues and I visited for a post day de-brief. The rooftop seating area we glimpsed from the street was very tempting, but sadly full when we arrived. Not deterred we found some room to sit outside on the long...table on the street. It was a great atmosphere and the table service was swift and efficient. We ordered a round of drinks - local red and some of the great beers on tap after one of the crew asked for a sample - which was happily provided. Dinner was great also, wagu burgers all round, which arrived quickly after ordering. Great location, and would definitely be a go to the next visit.More

Sooo overpriced. When the burger costs 27 dollars, you expect a bit more than a mediocre McDonalds Burger. Not recommended.More

Love this place for its atmosphere and selection of beers. We were hungry and decided to share the korean pork hawker roll. Very disappointed. It was served not as a roll but as a salad, filled with bean sprouts mainly. Very hard to find the...pork, little cucumber and thick slices of kimchi. Not a great experience sadly. Fries were niceMore

We called in here on our way to a concert at the spark arena. It's very handy and a good place for meal. The food was delicious and the staff we're really friendly. The place was packed probably because of the concert but the staff,...although they were run off their feet, handled it really well. The great we place to stop.More

Just arrived in Auckland and desperately needed a beer and something to eat. Found this on TripAdvisor and thought we would give it a go. Hubby had pie and I had fish and chips, which was excellent. He also had the choice of many local...beers on tap, so tried a couple. Apparently they were amazing. The staff were very friendly and stopped to have a chat. Service was excellent too.More

After a very long day of flying and fairly late for dinner on a mid-week evening, we stumbled into this place based just on its appearance (and the fact that it was still open and had customers). I had a look at the beer and...cider list, and was a bit (OK, a lot) shocked at the prices for some of the more exotic ones, so I settled for a more mundane cider. After we sat down, it took a while for the waitress to find us, but the service was great from then on. My friend had a burger, and I had some really great bangers and mash. When I return to Auckland, I'll be looking forward to eating here again.More
