How wonderful to be back at this lovely venue on Garnet Road. Enjoy the evening sunshine by the pavement and delicious wood fired pizza, washed down with very reasonably priced wine and beer. All made better by lovely Verity and Lisa. So kind, engaging and...committed. 🇬🇧🇳🇿More

A small Cafe/Theatre and Pizza establishment. Both food and beverages were expensive for what was on offer. Wine was not pored to standard measure. We had polenta chips to start. Quite oily and weirdly 5 chips between 2 people which didnt matter as we didnt...finish them. Pizza was fine but our meal seemed pretty pricey for what we were served. A cute little theatre but very hot and no fan or air conditioning in evidence. I would return to the theatre but would eat elsewhere.More

Great little bistro. We went there to celebrate “Fathers’ Day with my wife, daughter, her husband and her two little boys. It was a very pleasant evening. Great meal and great atmosphere. We will definitely come again.

Found this cafe by chance and an excellent find it turned out to be following a day seeing and travelling around local sites. Very well presented and spacious although we chose to sit outside in the afternoon sun. Very good menu and we settled for...various woodfired pizzas which were well presented and perfectly cooked. Costs are reasonable but reflect the good sized portions. Inside is a bar with both cider and beer on tap plus a well stocked fridge. This was our last meal in Auckland on this visit before we returned home. We were made very welcome with the good hosts and look forward to returning there when we next go down under.More

Yup, we have a bar on Garnet Road. To be Majenta, following the make over of this lovely café. We now have a great bar to complement this fab little refurbished and upgraded café and restaurant. (I refuse to call it an "eatery." Will the...bar become a drinkery!? Aotearoa falling foul of Americanisms!) Still that wonderful wood fired pizza so try and get that cosy spot by the open pizza kitchen, the warm oven behind you whilst facing the evening setting sun, or indoors propping up the bar. Lisa and Verity leading from the front.More

Back again after our absence in the UK. Nicely refurbished and still in the good hands of Lisa and Verity. Come for their wonderful pizza, wood fired, sitting outside in the evening sun. They have capitalised on the side by putting up a verandah. Tiny...theatre out back. Rainbow flags gaily fluttering in the summer breeze.More

Garnet Station was suggested to us by our Air BnB hosts. We were very glad that we visited - indeed we returned on 3 occasions during our brief stay in Westmere, Auckland. My wife and I can thoroughly recommend the pizzas with their thin crusty...bases and the coffee is excellent. We will call back on our next visit to Auckland to see the newly functioning bar!!More

This was a little local restaurant within a block of small shops such as a dairy etc. The restaurant is next to the small intimate theatre where the local drama club display their various talents! The food was very good and the service warm and...friendly. There was a choice to suit all tastes on the menu including an array of pizzas so the costs can be kept small if you are watching your budget. We were in a group of about 25 and everyone had a delicious meal. No complaints! They were happy to split the bill too.More

This place is adorable and eclectic. Staff is very casual, funny, kind and helpful. Food was fantastic! GF pancakes were the first we’ve had that you’d really never know they’re gf. Meats were yummy. Signage is a hoot. As members of the glbtq community from...the states, it was exciting to find this lesbian couple owned business! Highly recommend!More

Once again back at this lovely café by day, restaurant by evening. Great sat outside under the awning with Abbi cooking up her perfect wood fired pizza. Thin base and yummy. Licensed and reasonable prices. Go to a show when on in the Tiny Theatre...behind.More

In Westmere there are 3 really good cafes, and this is one. It's run by a Chinese couple, Linda and John, who are lovely people and do a great job. Their food is always prepared well, and helpings are generous, it has never disappointed. Great...coffee also, and interesting salads, cakes and cabinet food as well as an interesting menu.More

We popped in for a drink and to warm up. Was able to sit by a fireplace and have an adult beverage. The place is an arts & crafts style house. Each room/table afforded some privacy, it didn’t feel like other patrons were on top...of you. Didn’t eat there at that visit, but would definitely return for a meal there the next time I’m in Auckland.More

A great place for breakfast - plenty of seating in the area behind the counter. Close to Seddon Fields, Western Springs and the Auckland Zoo. Really enjoyed the corn fritters
