My husband and I went to Devonport for a nice day trip from Auckland and we ate at the Platter. We absolutely loved it! It had a nice view of the water, and the food was amazing. I'd recommend the soup of the day (chicken orzo) and the Cajun chicken sandwich. Food was delicious and ambiance was bright, clean and... More

So well worth all it offers. The food is of the top in the whole of Auckland. We as a family use this place of a regular basis as a family as well as for business meetings. We generally go for Brunch and Dinner. All of us travel Internationally as well as domestic as this is our favorite restaurant. Great... More

We ordered the fish n chips (snapper) and the Seafood Chowder which were both fantastic. Great service with a gorgeous view back to Auckland

We had walked past this cafe on a Sunday and it was packed. We went on a drizzly Wednesday morning and were not overly impressed. We shared corn fritters, which were a bit stodgy. Not as good as the Torpedo Bay Cafe. One flat white which my MM said was a bit grainy, I had a double short short black... More

How good was that!? Good food. Good service. Good view. Good value. We had the Spanish deluxe and Mushroom & chorizo. Flavors were exploding and celebrating in our graceful mouths. Devonport also turned on the best sunny day. Cannot have any better brunch. Great experience.

Nice view and relaxed outlook. But over priced for what you get. Photos don't do this justice. Not as good as it looks . Better to eat in Auckland and just visit here for coffees. Rest of Devonport appears a tourist trap. Nice for a walk and coffee for an hour or two. But that's about it.

Another "don't miss" Restaurant in Devonport Auckland. You can sit inside or out (with your dog) if you have one, and look across the harbour watching the boats as you enjoy your meal. It is licensed only for Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner or just a coffee with cake. The meals are BIG so can be shared if you prefere. This is... More

Stopped for lunch, Ceasar Salad with Chicken, very good. House Fish and Chips also very good. Needs to improve of the decor and the tables and chairs in the rear patio need chucking away. Detracts from what could be an excellent lunch venue.

Yay. No grease. Beautiful fresh light tempura coated snapper with salad and chips. Excellent. Washed down by local beers. Sat outside on a perfect day looking at the water. Great value, service fine. Worth a visit.
