One of the best restaurant I've dined in europe. In one sentence the restaurant cuisine is a crossroad between accuracy and passion ! Basically there were no mistakes what so ever in the interior design, in the service and most of all on the food. You could feel the passion for food of the Chef - Pascal that creates with... More

This is our second visit to this restaurant and we were not disappointed! The ambiance, food and wine is superb and is comparable with some of the best Michelin starred restaurants we have eaten at in London. We have every intention of visiting again next year!

It is two years since I last posted a review of Le Gindreau and since then we have visited the restaurant a dozen or so times. Each visit has been nothing less than a wonderful experience. Le Gindreau is definitely in the 'fine dining' category with a merited Michilen star. That said, there is a range of menus at different... More

A beautiful setting and exquisite food! We visited this restaurant a few years ago and were lucky enough to go back in the summer ... We weren't disappointed! The new chef has continued the legacy of excellence. Each dish that we ordered was beautifully prepared and presented with a flourish of theatre. It is not a cheap option but I... More

First visit to this restaurant since the change in ownership. The food was as good, possibly better..which means it was a fabulous meal. The service was even better as it was less starchy than before. It's not inexpensive, but the MenuDecouverte and Delectation were well chosen, a delight to the eye and stomach!

On a lovely summers evening, dining on the terrace in dappled sunlight,we partook of the menu gastronomic 125 euros and a delight of colour and taste to behold, all washed down with a wonderful Pomerol. In fact two bottles between three. Service as usual extremely good.

On a warm August evening in Saint Médard, we were among about 40 people who had chosen to dine at Le Gindreau. The other guests seemed to be almost all French; many of them probably enjoying a summer holiday in the Lot. The terrace at Le Gindreau, on the hillside overlooking the valley, is a lovely place to spend a... More

Our fourth visit to this lovely Michelin starred restaurant and it doesn't get much better than this. Stylish but unpretentious this eatery is about 30 minutes west of Cahors tucked away in a small village surrounded by woodland. Delightful mise en bouche packed full of interesting flavours displaying great skill. Foie gras en papillote was amazing as was the traditional... More

This restaurant draws us back every time we have something special to celebrate; this time it was a birthday. We really like the seating arrangements which allow you to feel separate from the other guests and yet connected by the vision of dishes which appear at other tables. Today's meal was exceptional with one of us going for fish based... More

This is not an easy review to do but I have to say that we have now been disappointed on the last 2 occasions ,both for dinner...there is no doubting the skill of the current chef and his team offer an excellent ,attentive service but the food, attractive as it may be with its artistry and invention,is more of a...
