As a Lanzarote resident, El Golfo is one of my favourite places to eat. I have eaten in most of the restaurants here. But today was my first time in La Lapa. We were greeted by Fran, the owner, who recommened cherne, baked with potatoes and vegetables for our main course. And I am so glad we took his advise.... More

La lapa is a small scale restaurant that serves fish, meat etc meals. Our group of six people was happy with the service, but we took only coffee and small snacks. Looked like a good place in the middle of not-so-many activities. Yet the resources seem pretty limited.

My wife and I have visited this restaurant on several occasions and have never been disappointed with the food or the service. We have always been encouraged by the fact that many Spanish people eat there and if our experience is anything to go by, I'm not surprised.

The fresh fish was perfectly cooked and the papas arrugadas (local potatoes) with the mojo sauce was delicious. Very friendly service. The house wine was very good (local wine from Lanzarote).

Great food, a bit fiddly dissecting the fish but it was worth it. I may ask to have the fish filleted next time. The staff were very attentive and I have no hesitation going back, even if I have to tackle a fish or two

I went there for a quick lunch with my friend. We got two portions of tapas and two glasses of coke and payed about 18 €, which I deem a bit too high. Food was okay, the waiters seemed unnecessarily busy. Also, we got the impression that they didn't appreciate us as guests very much because we did not order... More

Was given in the most splendid surroundings. Fresh fish a plenty, salads, pasta and the most helpful service to boot - the waiter even boned the fish platter for us!!! Do try it, oh and by the way, the views are stunning too!

We went there for a quick lunch before going to el Parco National. We checked on Tripadvisor the reviews and we choose this restaurant. We set inside, as outside there was no tables available, but this was not a big deal. The menù is quite short, with no many choices. We asked for the Paella, but they said that the... More
