If you enjoy fish and seafood in a dis pretentious way this is the place. The food is cooked the way it should with fresh fish and seafood caught of the coast. It is cooked as my family would with attention to the freshness of...the ingredients rather than the Instagram version of a dish. For the true sea taste lovers!More

If you want a truly amazing fish, don’t miss out Casa Rafa. Run by Rafa himself, he and most of his crew are from Galicia, and boy do they know how to prepare fish. The best I have tasted on the island!

I can highly recommend this place for your dinner or lunch, when you love fish. Everything is very fresh caught and Rafa and his team try everything to make you happy even when he explain the type of fish. The place is beautiful located at...a quite road with the view on the sea.More

We arrived here rather late for a lunch but could enjoy a calm atmosphere and nice view outside. The selected parrillada de pescado was wonderful, a selection of three or four nicely grilled fishes. We regret however the fishbones have not been removed by a...professional before serving. As usually the typical tapas are served automatically, we asked not to get any. They have however been charged but having made a remark, the correction was rapidly made, without any discussion... fair! This restaurant was certainly a very nice experience.More

We have eaten a number of times in El Golfo but not at this restaurant. Our bocanegra fish lunch was delicious and the greeting and service from Rafa and his team was exemplary. Many restaurants are quite quiet at the moment but Casa Rafa was...full, so it is probably advisable to book, particularly if you would like a table with the best views. We look forward to our next meal here.More

For anyone visiting Lanzarote this place is a must. The second I mentioned Sin Gluten the server was quick to tell me what dips (already on the table) I could & couldn’t have. Then within 5 mins a gluten free bugette, warm, appeared in front...of me. We had a different server who took our order & he knew I was gluten free. And they were great with the kids. Def worth a visit!More

It is not difficult to see why El Golfo is a favoured destination of the local populace of Lanzarote and it is not difficult to see why Casa Rafa is so highly regarded. The variety of fish available was quite amazing and all fresh because...it all depends on the day's catch. The service was great and the attention to detail was outstanding.More
