Pretty standard menu from what we experienced on our holiday. Good orange juice and coffee and service was more attentive than we got elsewhere - more like dinner service than breakfast. Cafe itself is slightly more upmarket than some we visited. Well located near the Heavenly complex. Overall, better than average.

Seated quickly despite the fact that it was a busy summer Sunday morning.Friendly service and delicious comfort breakfast food. We had french toast and a sort of biscuits and gravy ham breakfast sandwich. Both were great. Traditional and comforting without feeling greasy or gut bomb.I would definitely return.

Setting: Right at the commercial area – we can also call it strip-like Mall. Lot of Parking space available. Light wooden décor. You have to expect waiting times. It is a typical Diner style café with a huge variety of sandwiches and drinks. The portions are pretty big. I had an excellent chile con carne and a great chicken sandwich.... More

In an area filled with tourist traps, Driftwood is a great spot. We had very friendly service and the food was fantastic! Excellent value for the cost too. Highly recommend!

Delicious breakfast, especially if you like eggs in all its shapes and forms! We went for eggs benedict and a house special omelet, generous portions and it tasted super fresh. Only con is the long wait to get a table, we went for takeaway and still waited around 15 mins. Highly recommended, especially if you have a long day of... More

i've been coming to driftwood for years - whenever i'm in south lake tahoe. i rarely get anything different since nobody makes their mashed potato pancakes...i have extreme cravings for these! staff is friendly and strive to provide the best dining experience as possible. they don't take reservations, so the earlier the better, otherwise, be prepared to wait anywhere between... A much better option than the mass produced hotel breakfasts. We ordered fried eggs, toast, a bagel with cottage cheese and a yoghurt with muesli an fruit. Nothing complicated but the food arrived fresh, exactly as ordered and not expensive.
