Driftwood has no shortage of diners waiting to get in. We arrived mid-week at the end of September & we experienced a 25 minute wait. It was worth it. The menu was extensive and the breakfast entrees were delicious, plentiful, and prepared as we requested. The wait wasn't a problem as diners can visit the numerous shops adjacent to the... More

We've eaten here on several visits to Lake Tahoe & are never disappointed. The menu is enormous & the serving sizes are too. I had a delicious chicken fried steak, hash browns & eggs, my wife said her corn beef hash was yummy. Prices are reasonable as the portions are large. Friendly & prompt service.

This is a good breakfast place. Amazing how many wait in line for entry but once in the dining is good.

Wonderful food and staff. Everyone is friendly and accommodating. There is usually a wait, but not too long. We recommend this restaurant.

Enjoyed breakfast here twice. The coffee was hot, flavorful and kept coming with attentive friendly service on both occasions. We arrived @ 8 am for our first visit (they open at 7) and scored the last table. We both opted for the pancake sandwich which included 2 giant fluffy cakes, 2 eggs any style, and choice of bacon, sausage or... More

We had lunch here after taking the Heavenly Gondola ride up the mountain. They had a nice menu that was varied, with something for everyone, as well as a good kids menu. I had the Philly Cheese steak which was great. The staff were attentive and prompt, and the location was very convenient. There were different stores and gift shops... More

We went there for breakfast and it was really good. You know it's worth it when there's a 45 minute wait. My wife and I rode out the wait and glad we did. One of the best breakfasts I've had eating out in a while. I would recommend the Meat Lover's Omelette, really good. Get there early if you can.... More
