The Driftwood Cafe is a great small restaurant. Very welcoming atmosphere and great service. The menu is varied with great selections. We chose a club sandwich and a tuna melt both were very tasty and a sizeble portion. Great place for lunch.
Just had an amazing breakfast here this morning! Our family traveled to Lake Tahoe for a ski trip and we would return to the Driftwood Cafe in a heartbeat! The Huevos were amazing, especially with the black bean chicken chili!

We went on the weekend so very busy about a 20 minute wait. Staff is very friendly. You can have a cup of coffee while you wait and they move people through! Great food and decently priced for a resort.

The breakfast here is terrific and the service comes with many smiles and a fun attitude. Be aware that on the weekends it gets very crowded and there is a waitlist, so just factor 30 minutes into your schedule.

I dined inside the cafe a couple of times and did, indeed, see people seated outside who were served as well if it wasn't too busy inside. On days it was busy, patrons came inside to order and brought their food outside if necessary. The waiters did everything they could to go out to assist from what I was.
